Aftermarket antenna Re-wire? Help please

I yanked out the retracting antenna from the car the other day and talking and comparing with some of the folks on here, it seems it's already been replaced to an aftermarket one and this aftermarket one is broken just the same.
It's been suggested I get the aftermarket retracting ones from Autozone which come recommended by some of the good folks here.
My question is, how difficult is it to splice the wire connections of the antenna I'll be getting with the factory antenna wires?

OK I found a transmission that will work with my engine swap. Im not sure how well it will hold up to the power but Ill give it a try.
Im going with a A853 Engine(srt4) 2.4L DOHC Turbo motor. The tranny for a RWD is out of a 2.4L Jeep Liberty. Im sure there is going to be lots of fabrication involved. Hopefully I can GIT R DONE before PF05. Wish me luck and Ill take lots of pictures along with documenting what I do.

KYB AGX conversion kit

This kit allows the use of the KYB AGX adjustable inserts from the rear of the 90-95 MR2. the same insert is used for the fronts and the rear. this kit requires the use of coil-over springs since there is no lower spring perch on the rear housings and there for it is a little noiser on some bumps. the inserts (not included in the kit) are Part# 765016 and you can get them from summit for around $90 each or cheaper on ebay, etc.... keep in mind that these are NOT STREET LEGAL and I will nee
