Hey guys I been doing a lot if reading but can't seem to find out why my car on backfires on the highway around 65 to 70 mph it dosn't backfire on the street or stoplight only on the highway around that speed and it's not a lot just pop here then it's fine an pop and so on could you please help me   Thanks   Oh I have a 87 quest with the 88 ecu. Hey guys, new to the site. Just picked up an 88 esi-r 64,000 miles. not bad shape. Anyway I have a fuel issue, pump wont run. jumped it on the test wire under the hood and nothing. The question, is the fuel pump relay seriously buried under the dash next to the blower motor etc. any tips on removing without pulling the whole dash? thanks

I'm on my third pump in less than a year. The 040 went out after I replaced the factory pump and cleaned out the tank. Bought a 070 from DMNDSTAR87 (whom I might add was a pleasure doing business with), that worked forever but just started groaning today. I'm about to have to buy a daily driver because my car keeps having fuel gremlins. I'm guessing my tank is just wearing away, because I cleared the fuel bowl's inlet tube, I cleaned the tank out, and replaced it with that 070, but like I said,
