More Topics
By Blue1989TSi,
It seems that there are overlaps of threads on the site. Maybe it's a good idea (maybe not) to split the Virtual Mechanic into several pieces to accomodate the mass of people we have. Not everyone scrolls through the 3-14 pages of history in the forums, thus creating repeated topics. With more specific topics it may be easier to find answers to C/S problems or questions without creating repeats.
Just a thought.

SDS crank sensor + solid pulley final install pics
By Boosted_One,

Here's what my SDS crank sensor and MD020842 solid OEM pulley looks like mounted. I have 2 pictures posted. The picture with the belt on was to show the clearance. More than enough clearance where I have it mounted.

Lubricating rear axle hub bearings

By Guest,
When I rebuilt my rearend I had the machine shop remove the inner seal
on the bearing's facing each other and drilled a couple of small holes in
the outer seals before they were presssed in. Then a grease fitting installed
on the bottom of the hub housing for easy access when under the car
servicing it. The first time it took almost a whole tube of grease to do both
sides , now just a couple of pumps on the grease gun .
