For those who are following along, the 1st stage was a complete valve job with the j/v eliminator kit. That was completed last month but the rings couldn't stand up to the test, which I figured, so now its short block time. The plan is for a complete tear down of the block with Pure Seal rings, forged pistons, turned crank, balance shaft elimination, Fidanza flywheel, Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, ... I need passenger side front fender, preferably palermo gray. But I will take any color if its in good shape.

What would cause a leak from the torque convertor area?   The tranny is low on fluid(unknown exactly how much), so I added 3/4's of a quart and lost a 1/4 quart or so during a 5 minute idle time in park.   I'm also leaky slightly from the speedo cable input, but I have the seals for it. Just need to put them in.
