I'm seeing if anyone here might have or know of someone that has a lower timing cover for a 1g DSM 6 bolt engine. One of the accessory belts my son's 1990 Eclipse rubbed several spots in the timing cover and while doing a timing belt swap I want to replace it with a good used one to keep from spending $100+ on a new one.   I can be reached here, by email (tdd2672@gmail.com) or by phone (256-630-4774).   Thanks, Dan

I think it was Shelby that posted in one of my threads. He recommended swapping out the 'stock' gear ratio with 390. What is the performance benefit of such a swap, and what effect will it have on mileage if it's a daily driver with a 16g, if any?   Just curious. Thanks fellas! -N8
