I took the car into the shop today. ,and the mechanic showed me the leaks. he suggested a Lucas additive . I declined it. what do u guys use ? thanx

Just wondering what part(s) of the original turbo are required for a rebuild or upgrade. Would assume most parts are for rebuilds, but with upgrades do you really need anything but a good outer case?   Background is thinking about upgrading a 12a into either a 16g or 17c with an 06sl2 hot side. Most say the hotside is limiting, especially as you move up, and not sure I want to go do 06 and have a new flange and change dp.   Thanks. Hn
