Okay ive been reading this for a while now and looking all over for answers to 4g63t swap questions and a faq on the swap. but i havent been finding anything that answers my questions.   So this may sound stupid but why cant or doesnt any one use the stock cconquest tranny with the 4g63t swap. i figured the y are both mitsu desinged and should share mateable parts.i mean besides the bell housing not bolting to a 4g63t whats stopping you from using a conquest tranny?     and i say this

Looking for one to put in Dad's car, don't care about year, just a good tranny close enough to pick up. Since his car will remain stock, an 86-87 tranny will be more than adequate. Thanks.
