I was reading on the Mr2 inserts and had a quick question. Why is the gland nut changed? Is it the diameter of the shock rod that is too big to pass through the O.E. nut on the housing?   I wanted to order the mk1 10 way adjustable with spacers and wasn't sure if I need to modify the strut body to make them work.

I just received my quarter panels from cali today and now I need to shop around and get a few quotes to replace the left quarter on my car. How much should i be looking to spend to have one of these quarters replaced?
