Maybe this is the right area to ask, but I was wondering if anyone knew what color of primer Mitsubishi used on our cars. I have been wet sanding off the old peeling clear coat and what I believe to be a really thin layer of paint and primer that p.o must have put on. There is a dark red layer, then a really thin grey primer, and then a lighter red, followed by a white layer. I just don't want to go too deep and have rust issues. For the most part I think I'm just going to take the paint down to
