  1. Not kidding the interior in my car has probably kept me from getting rid of it once or twice (cloth)
  2. threadlock it! Seriously the heat from these cars will back off any amount of torque you put down. But yeah I bought new head studs and nuts for the rebuild cause I was tired of that crap.
  3. I too left the tranny in the car, best way to do it. I had a power steering pump line on I forgot about. Muffed that thing up pretty good.... Very tight fit I had to crawl under the car and pry on each dogear with a pry bar inching (More like MM'ing) out verrry slowly. It came out though. I usually (Since im a** backwards) Start by taking out all the transmission bolts that are connected to the engine first, move on up to take off all the hoses and electrical connectors (Dont forget the exhaust) , then unbolt the motor mounts.
  4. This is a damn good idea, I pretty much only have the vacuum line for my dist. and one for a BOV so goodbye climate control. Thanks!
  5. cool brotha shooting you an email..
  6. Thank you, just put the timing cover on yesterday, need to fit the 14b, mill the manifold and rebuild the intake and i will be good to put back in. While I was waiting for time to free up i also bought a fidanza flywheel, a 255 pump, and a msd blaster. I think a stock clutch should be ok we'll see.
  7. Looking for the mitsubishi valve cover for my 2.6. Thanks Nick
  8. I just wanted to let people know I am back and off hiatus, so be prepared for the crazy questions again. I also took time off of building my car, but yesterday I decided to start it back up again and got pretty far. After 2 deaths in the family and the birth of my son ( 6 months old now ) I pretty much have more of the engine built then unbuilt. I was blown away by the new site but it looks pretty amazing actually, well happy questing everyone! Nick
