Change the title to "Mighty Max 5speed Transmission". I got all excited to see a cool truck only to feel tricked and disappointed

Mk1 struts are comparable to monroe so be aware when ordering. Empty out some housings and go with flatty front tokicos or heck go for koni inserts.

Might help if you title your thread with something appropriate like "Thread pitch for shift knob?"

pics???

Hell, drop the tank and clean everything or get it to someone who can professionally restore it. Its only going to cause more problems.

Fix it. Replace that cone filter with an inline filter.

Push on hose ends... id check there to start. Are they aluminum? Get rid of it if it looks hacked. Not worth blowing up your engine over that.

Aftermarket radiator cap? Go to napa and grab a new one.

My vote goes to having one dedicated thread for correcting the grammer of any previous post in the thread. -
What I mean to say is I vaguely remeber another bracket it bolts to and unfortunately I only have the oil line.

I think I know what you mean now. Unfortunately I thought you meant the piece you just described.

I get ya. I just read "recirculate" as in blow off recirculation. Misunderstanding on my part.

I dont know how I got it sent so cheap. I could just have a poor memmory. I need Ken to verify thats how much it actually was. I dont recall the exact bix dimensions but if it was any smaller the airdam wouldnt have fit.

I think the essence of his message is the "intentional" mispelling of words and complete lack of punctuation out of laziness. Nobody is expected to be perfect but putting in a little effort to help convey your message to the reader is never a bad idea. Additionally, your an english teacher right, Andrew? Its like Shelby(or any other competent mechanic) being irked about someone offering bad fix advise -

I shipped a complete, new airdam for right about $50 going through fedex. It was approx a year ago but I doubt shipping prices have doubled since then. Had a box similar in size to the OP and walked right into the local fedex/kinkos place.

Happy Birthday Derek! Cant wait to see more pics of your new place.
-
Ill accept that. When I first read recirculate the image of the 1gs or wrx set up came to mind. Such is not the case with any year quest.

??? Recirculate hose??

battery ground question *updated*
89PalermoSHP replied to claurance2's topic in Advanced Virtual Mechanic
Autozone listed the ISC but it was north of $400 if I recall correctly. It was also a bit difficult to locate(not labeled as "ISC on their site) and I cant recall what to search for. If your battery cable is that bad i would highly suggest replacing it. Napa offers a cable that is an exact replacement but, again, its not listed for the car/model so you just have to measure the original and match it to the description of one of their cables. It was all of $40-$50.
