I changed my oil and filter yesterday. I usually run 20-50w with Fram. I went with 15-40w rotella and a bosch filter, My oil pressure went up higher than it ever Has since i rebuilt the engine. It idles at 1/2 and I drive at 3/4 at 3k rpm. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have an 87 with an 89 ecu, Maft with 3.75" maf, 85 and 95lb injectors. I was wondering if I still need to do the igniter mod to avoid fuel cut?

He is in iraq for work. I get updates every now and then on myspace. He visted not too long ago also!

Im having the same problem but under further inspection and researched I found out that the 88-89 vacuum advance retards more timing than the previous years. Autozone sells the 87 and earlier for all models listed. Im going straight to the dealer to avoid the hassle of buying the same one all over again!

I will ASAP!!! I have a DD too so Im not washing out my cylinder walls too much. The only thing holding me back is I have an ls7 MAF so I have to make a 5pin into a 3pin harness! Would you think I need a FPR?

Its stock as of now. I have a maft waiting to be installed! The car drives and idles good, its just pig rich!

I installed my walbro, all new filters and added and extra filter at the pump, installed 85lbs and 95lbs injectors too, and Im very Happy with the performance of the fuel set up!! I hit 15psi on my td05h 18g and had a ratio of 10.5 or so, all across the board!!! Its worth the money for the injectors!!! I give it a thumbs up :wink:

Injectors: go on ebay delphi 85lb and 95lb injectors. Way cheaper than others! :wink:

Did you balance the turbo? Some times if its out of balance it makes too much of a spooling noise!

I got it balance at Turbo City for $35 dollars. The kit is from turbo parts.com? Not sure, just yahoo turbo parts and it should come up.

I rebuilt my turbo, td05h-18g cause I had too much shaft play. I ordered a seal kit. This kit includes bearings,o-rings,snap rings,and piston rings, for $40! Once I put it together not only did my oil pressure rise overall but it also spooled and pulled alot faster! Well worth rebuilding other then prevention of complete turbo failure!
