good idea using a braided line on clutch. how?
cyberquest replied to JohnnyWadd's topic in Virtual Mechanic
tman had one for his car that i installed for him. they say hard lines are the best form of line, just get jolys line that pics up there the hard line ends. or make a hard line that runs the whole length, just a metric brake line from your local auto parts store will work fine. -

Rice is coming back!!
cyberquest replied to AutoBodyGod's topic in eBay/ Craiglist notices and alerts
Pure musclecar sweetness... http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b343/vcyberbob/Decorated%20images/superbird.jpg epic ricer fail... http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b343/vcyberbob/Decorated%20images/47.jpg i understand what he was doing, and kinda like it to a degree. using a more retro wheel would have pulled off what he was trying to do better. and the front bumper is way too ricey looking. the way he has the front end reminds me of this cause of the way he made his have a point. http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/corvettesummer1.jpg but what do i know i made a questang. -
oh lord... can you wait on that till mid october?

and whats your thoughts on it compaired to how it is now to the last time you drove it? and i knew i should have disarmed the linelocks till i got them wheels and tires off there....HERB hes messin up your tires!
-
you would wire the wastegate arm shut to see what happens? be very careful though, if you see it hit 20 let off the gas cause it will keep climbin. but that could verify if its wastegate related. just a weird thought here but you mentioned pegging the 20psi gauge, you sure it didnt mess up the gauge?

just for the record, candi didnt even knotice it was gone, i had to kinda point it out. we went over to the barn and burned one and she was like wow its bare in here, commenting on your white car being gone. i was like yea it is bare in here, but i dont think your paying attention to HOW BARE it is. she was then instantly like "OMG BECKY" now i have to change my signature line....great
-
you do understand the car needs to see LOAD to reach max boost pressure. your not gonna hit 20psi in 1st and 2nd gear cause its not under as much load, you wont see that max boost till 3rd and 4th.
