  11. I was just going to use the first gen dsm plug and go with the 3" gm mas air sensor and the 1 gen maft but i didnt want to mess up the maft so i figured id get it back to stock and start over doing one wire at a time.Ive done a little bit of research and found that the one green and red wire in the far left upper corner,it supplies the voltage from the ecu that goes to the barometric pressure sensor.Number 6 wire green and red is to the air temp sensor and the @5 black and white wire 3.9v to the ecu from the translator and the other black and white are the ground.I found it on starquest.i-x-net so if i had the wiring harness seperated so nothing is touching i would need the key on whould i be able to test the wires?Could i test the ground with a test light just to figure out the black and white ground and use a voltmeter on the other green wires?Thats what i didnt understand so how would you test the green wires? thanks,Gary
  12. Do you have the engine harness that goes to the ecu ?
  13. Ya thanks i already have a 89 ecu and a 88-89 spark box wired out of my 87 harness but i didnt want to risk frying my 89 ecu because instead of doing the wires one by one like i should have i cut them all at the same place then when i realized that i had 2 sets of wires that are the same color i stopped.I dont want to mess my dsm translator up so i figured maybe just swap the harness out and just do it one by one or at least mark all the wires 1-6 like i should have done in the beginning.I just dont know if there is a easy way of maybe checking the wires to make sure they are right before going any further or just swap out the harness and start again
  14. Do you have the engine wiring harness that feeds the injectors that hooks to the ecu ,and a price for it? thanks,Gary
  15. I figured id cut my harness to match my wires to the first gen mas plug and didnt mark any of the 2 green and red wires or the 2 black with a white stripe wires .So i was going to try and hook them back up to the stock mas and wasnt sure if i should swap my 89 computer with a 87 one in cas it would mess it up if i didnt have the 2 sets of wires exactly the way they were?Or if i should just swap my harness out with a 88 harness that i bought and do it one buy one so nothing gets crossed? Any ideas or thought would help me out i just dont want to chance hooking the translator up and messing that up 2 thanks,Gary
