Steering Wheel control are working now after cleaning the connections. Thanks. Now I want to replace the factory radio and install a aftermarket doble DIN radio. Anybody knows the adapter to make comparable my aftermarket radio with my factory steering wheel controls?

Hello guys, anyone know why everytime I put my ignition on my AC fan goes on. Radiator fan works well with thermostat but the ac fan is always on. Sometime I do not mind because I am always with my ac on but when I hava a cold weather. I do not need this fan to be on all the time. Perhas it is a relay. How many Starion-Conquest wants to meet. Lets set the date and place. I recommend Key Biscayne @ the Rickenbacker causeway. It has very nice site for pictures of the ocean and downtown Miami.

I am upgrading the fans for my starion and I need to confirm if the Radiador Fan and AC Fan blows the air to the engine or to the Radiator.. I think both are suppos to extract the hot air directed to the engine and the one in the front it is a pusher. Please confirm. I don't remember this. as I removed the factory ones long time ago. I know it is discontinued but I will buy an used one or bad one to try to fixed without removing mine until I know the weld is fine.

Sand it up and them you can polishe the aluminum

Also when are you taking apart the swicht for cleanning, you will see some little springs inside. Be very careful and stretch them a little bit and the problem will go away. Good luck!

You don't have to buy the whole slave cylinder. They also sale the rebuilt kit and it is very simple to replace..

Thanks very much Charles for the tips. I will be waiting for the pictures.. I am also been thinking in updating the Radio. I had my car for 23 Years and I never want to change the Radio to keep it original and to use the steering wheel remote control but now with all the new technology, as mp3, USB, bluetooth, steering wheel remote control comparable, etc.. and prices are under $200 for Kenwood, Alpine or JVC. I am thinking about it again.

The Engine does not consume the antifreeze, it just send it back to the reseirvoir tank.. There is not white smoke in the pipes. When I checked the radiator is a little bit low but the water missing is on the little tank.

I replaced the catalic coverter near the engine with an empty one over a year ago. After that I started experiecing the enginen driven very cool and also my reseirvoir tank got overfilled with the antifreeze 50/50 from the radiator. Everytime I refill the radiator, antifreeze goes back to the tank and radiator is low with fluid about half the reseirvoir tank. Engine does not reheat and works fine. But everytime I check the radior is a little low. Please advise, Thanks,

One side of the lower part to the radio and EQ lights burn up and I would like to replace them.. Any body try to replace this light bulbs? Do you have to take apart alot of things or just the front cover of the radio? EQ green lights are ok, I just need to replace the ones fron the dash, Please advise.. Thanks,

Thanks for your replies, I got it solved!! I actually made a boo boo and cross over the connector with a resistor and conected to the other plug I was connecting the black plug into the blower and not the blue connector. opps . Of course I realized that after I checked every AC system. AC is working and new blower is working awesome!

Yes, fan blower is good. I replace it with a new one. However the old one was working as well but had to much resistance.

I have an 87 Starion ESIR. I put a new blower. The Air Accondion Fuse was bad, I replace it and still no power. I checked fuse #5 & #12 both are good. Compressor works when I turn the ac switch on. I tried using a spare temperature speed resistor (The one inside the blower) and still does not work. I also tried using different AC control switch and still blower does not work. The only thing I have not able to test are the two relay behind the evaporator. I think you need to remove both cover to reach the screws.. Any ideas? I will appreciated. Thanks, ~Ulises.

Thank you for all your replies, I will re check the connections, control does not light up and horne works periodicly and some times gets stock bebping and I have to desconect to reset.

I have a 1987 Mitsubishi Starion ESIR with silver control. Recently I purchased a 1988 Steering wheel with the newers remote control. I swap the wheels but the remote control does not work. Should this work just switching the wheels or I need to replace something else. Please advise. Thanks Ulises.
