Ive had several occasions of bad electrical items from oreillys. Pretty sure they are buying from chinese 5 yr old sweatshops. I wont bother w anything else electrical from oreillys and i absolutely will not buy anything from autozone.

Tye, i think the main csx office is in tucker ga. Which isnt very far from me at all. Justin is in marrietta and lawrencville, both ars very decent distances. Starfighterpilot is pretty close also and another or two in the general area. Braden and jimmy are down in macon about 1.5-2hrs away. We should be able to put something together. I would just leave it alone and let it die down for a few weeks making sure your son doesnt park in front of their house again. And after a while when its been mostly forgotten abouf, go over in the middle of the night and do some of those things mentioned like add some wheel weights. Or zip ties on the driveshaft. Loosen the valve stem on a tire so it will leak air sort of slowly. Do they have painted wheels. Pour some brake fluid on them at the bottom so it looks like a dog pissed on it.

Shelby, the bigjohn mentioned in the meet thread is john mcgrath, jmacten. Hes an old timer from way back before my time in 01-02. Pretty sure hes been around since early 90s or before. One hell of a great guy and extremely knowledgeable, but kind of quiet. The big john that bought your old truck from jimmy is over in tennessee. I dunno how long hes been around, but hes another pretty cool dude. Him and his wife dee have a hand in the p.f. Meets. Couldnt ask for nicer people. Now all we got to do is get you to p.f.

being sick sucks. being sick when its pretty outside sucks. being sick when its pretty outside and the ol lady is irritable sucks big time. and all of this on top of all you poor bishes at the tsq2014 where i wish i was, sucks. im just bored out of my mind and irritated. my brain says lets go do something and my body says, yea-right, we aint going to do crap. now add all that to ive got a quest that needs some trunk interior components that need to be reinstalled and it needs some body work and a new clutch, oh and it needs a new multi function switch because the lights are flaky. ive got everything readily available except for the clutch and besides that its a matter of mney and time. time and money. when i have one i dont have enough of the other. add all that to trying to get some work done around my house and im planning to sell it pretty soon and hopefully pay off some debt. ive got a car that needs to be sold and i need the time and want to to get out and clean the thing up. then i just need to figure out if i want to sell it now or wait till income tax time. i dont think it will bring anymore money at incokme tax time, maybe 200 or so at best but it could cover paying my property taxes for this year and maybe a few bucks left over as im expecting to pay a few dollars to the good ol us of a uncle sam for income taxes, which brings me to another point. im sick of paying damned taxes. ok lots of crazy crap rolling around in my head as im bored crapless stuck in the house and dont feel like doing anything. why couldnt i get one of those good sicknesses that makes your brain all fuzzy and you dont want to do anything. instead my brain is about 97% good and the body is whats not acting right. jeez i will be glad to get over this crap.

I spoke to jimmy yesterday afternoon and he sounded fair. Not great but fair. Told me the same thing as shelby. Be a couple days before they can say what the deal is. Till then he is hanging out for observation.

I went ahead and welded the opening in the head. Did it w some pretty thin alumi um sheet, maybe 1/8" this forced me to keep the heat down and i co centrated more on flowing the aluminum compared to trying to burn in and be strong. I did t notice any signs of trouble at all. I also did the same to the dist hole.

Im with ken on this. Ive seen several occasions of timing chain guides being worn to the aluminum. Does sound like some sort of knock from the front. Like said earlier, dont start it again. I lost a turbo oil feed line a few years back and ran low on oil as a result. Found the problem fixed it and limped home. Heard the dreaded knock on the way home and decided to, trailer it from my house to my shop. The next day i cranked it to load it on the trailer and in the first 10 seconds, ww3 broke out in the motor and i had a hole in the side of the block. Moral of the story, dont crank it again. You never know if you will survive. Dont chance it.
