  1. I thought it was a great deal as well. I had some interest but then my phone number changed. It is still for sale and I will be willing to go down in price to $2,000. Again I still don't want to part the car out (even if it would be worth more). I would really like to see it get put back together but that is up to the buyer. I can be contacted at Christopher_Stanek@Yahoo.com
  2. I added more photos online. To questions about selling parts I really want to sell everything together as much of it wont work without the other parts. I have everything needed to make this car run (yes I have the injector resisters) but the entire factory engine harness has been removed for the engine management system so I do not have spare parts for factory ignition vehicles. http://s43.photobucket.com/user/gober803/library/Starion
  3. I have gotten a few emails asking about the interior so I posted some pictures online. The one photo of the glove box area is poorly lit but was taken with the trim pulled back to show the SDS controller in the factory ECU location and controller box installed in glove box. http://s43.photobucket.com/user/gober803/library/Starion
  4. Sorry about not posting a price. I have been out of the Starquest world for a while and am struggling with what everything is worth. I am thinking $2500 but could the veteran members let me know if this is high, low, or a good price?

  6. I have a '88 White Starion with black '83 hood, and a pile of performance parts. Currently the engine is out and it needs a new bottom end, this car was my life for many years but things change and it has been going on five years without working on it so it’s time for it to go. The engine was removed due to a rod bearing but ran great once upon a time. I am not interested in parting it out so the sale is all or nothing. Below is a list of parts that are included. (I am sure I will forget some) Odometer says 33k and does work but I can't guarantee it is accurate Magna Intake with 4.6l throttle body. 750 cc Injectors. SDS Engine / Fuel management system with distributor less Coil packs (Factory ECU and harness has been removed) Custom exhaust header with T4 flange (Never been installed) T4 Turbo (Rebuilt - never been installed) Wideband O2 Sensor / Gauge Electronic Boost Controller Non-Jet valve head - Ported / polished with HD valve springs and oversized SS valves Performance CAM shaft (don't remember details) Oversized intercooler Solid intercooler pipes Blow off valve Black ’83 hood with scoop , and ’88 hood painted same as car 3” Engine back exhaust Factory exhaust manifold with 16g turbo (12a ported to 16g) Manual transmission Lightened ’86 Flywheel Stock Crankshaft De-stroked Crankshaft (g52b) The body is still in good shape, but could use a new paint job. It has been sitting in my garage for 5 years. The electrical system not related to the engine still works well including all interior components. The A/C was removed prior to my owner ship of it. Also included is the I have two engine blocks (one is no good), I am attaching some photos to the post of the outside and a few of the parts, if anyone wants additional photos or has specific questions send me an email : Interior is cloth, dark in color and in great shape, no sunroof, Vehicle located in Rochester Hills, Michigan Christopher_Stanek@yahoo.com <-- preferred method of contact. Don’t send a PM because I may not get it More pictures available

    tps

If you still need one I have a used one. Call me I don't log on very often. 248-521-0953 Chris.
  12. I have two. Neither is in good shape. They work but they leak oil on the exhaust side. I did the same used it to keep the car running temporarly. It will smoke but it will run.
  13. Trans is a manual, clutch is been upgraded and the motor is built well enough to handle the spray. no the driveline hasn't been upgraded but i seldomly hear of anybody blowing up driveline and i keep extra axles laying around after i broke the first one a while back. so this afterburner effect i assume you need something to regulate the nozzle timing and amount of no2 into the turbo?
  14. Sorry bout that my buddy (Bryan) posted this....Anyways what we are curious about is using nitrous to make boost right out of the hole. I've heard it can be used to launch under boost. Or am I mistaken. I wanna be able to get out of the hole.....now. And no kit has been installed yet cause I was unsure of what to go with. and dave it will stay together this time....I've already decieded high boost will be strip only....don't need 25psi on the street WhooRa for MI!
  15. If anybody is planning on going to NitroJam Sat (today) Give me a call. I am going with a buddy. I won't have my quest unfortunatly but none the less will be a good time. I will be arriving there around 2pm and staying til it ends and having a BBQ in the grand rapids area afterwards which anybody is invited to. Christopher 248-521-0953. PS While at BBQ am fixing a saturn so I will have a full set of tools so if anybody IS in the area and has umm typical Quest mechanical issues.....call if you need a hand.
  16. I'm thinking about installing nitrous on the next build, but i'll be running a T4 and am curious about using nitrous to spool the turbo off the line. If anyone has any info on this I would greatly appreciate any input you may have.
  17. Great person to deal with. We made a deal to trade some parts and to do next day shipping, and it made it here the next day from across the country. So he did excatly as agreed upon. Nice to deal with and kept good communication. Thanks. Chris.
  18. Still have either fan left? I need the one with the shroud built on to it, not sure if it is primary or secondary. Chris.
  19. I'll take one, add me to the list. Chris.
  20. Is this a production item you are making a lot of? Or do you have only one and your getting rid of it? I'd like one but at the moment don't have the money.
  21. Since I bought my car a year or so ago only the smaller of the two fans has worked. The one of the left side. Well up until this point I havn't needed the other one so never worried about it, the car always ran cold and I never had any problems. Well the last two weeks here in MI it has been in the 90's. And I NEED that fan! If anybodys has one PM me. I can pay via paypal, or if you need any parts that I may have maybe some sort of swap. Chris.
  22. Very impressive. I'm also curious to hear about the pro's and con's of this. Then I just have to find a machine shop around here capable to doing this. Chris.
  23. Mark sorry I wasn't able to come out there for the meet and help on the car. I have a set of extracter sockets designed especially for locking wheel nuts. If you decide to play on a Sunday that I can stop by I will bring them or if you still need them asap I'll mail them to ya as long as I get them back. Not sure were to buy them I bought mine off the Matco Tool truck. Looks good though, can't wait to see the final product. As far as the sockets knock on wood I havn't found a lug I couldn't get off with them, a few smacks with a hammer and hit it with an impact gun. Chris.
  24. I have for sale a 2.5" stainless steel downpipe, and pipe after the down pipe which elminate the second converter. The two pipes are connected by a 2 bolt flange and there is a flange at the end of the second pipe to connect to the rest of your piping. Pipes are used but still in excellant condition. Pictures by request. I built a custom 3" turbo back exhaust so I don't need these anymore. Best offer. Update.
