  1. LOL he is taking all the cars! I was looking to get a Durban from Jonboyb and Jimmy had the dibs first and got it, otherwise it would have been mine.... JIMMY! GIMME A CAR MAN!
  2. Never hurts to get the Aeromotive or in my case I used the SX performance which is made for Aircrafts which also complements my SX fuel pump. They are good stuff.
  3. I believe the best bet we have right now is through 101PROPOSE (MOOKEEH) whom has already contacted a supplier to make the struts. He can most likely make it happen but are they any good? is it gonna be the same as a pair of Monroes or Gabriels? TWO CHOICES: Wait for Mookeeh to get samples from his supplier- Also he can make the full coilover kit when he actually gets more struts.....those are around $1500 bux. I am personally getting some custom work done. I am getting some billet 12 way adjustable units +springs from summit and go from there and have it fabbed up to my car. But that will take some time and I dont know when it will be finished but I think replacing the entire assembly with new/custom parts-- so that it is readily available from any supplier would be the best bet on obsolete parts. Ill be sure to let you guys know when this happens with complete write-up so anyone can do it.
  4. I wish I could, but no time due to work, but you should take some pictures and point out the rust spots.
  5. Not bad at all for all stock clean 88 with everything running.
  6. Id be all over this if it wasnt so far away. Ill get hammered if I was to transport it down to FL.
  7. I have not tuned the entire fuel map for MPG savings, I was on the highway and with my laptop I leaned the fuel where I was simply cruising between 65-80 mph pulling vacuum/no boost and also I completely shut off any fuel where I would let go of the gas. I use the AUTOTUNE feature in the MegaTune to find the fuel map bins on the fly and with autotune you can easily adjust that point on the map and use the feedback from the Wideband Gauge to get a real good tune. ALSO I would adjust for when there would be load, say If I was going from 65 to 80-90mph on load I would go a tad richer but still close to stoich. I was still conservative as to keep a safety factor in so stuff dont melt like JP said. I think I can even do better if I threw those 96lb injectors in favor of some 75lb for city driving, but seeing that I can still manage to save gas with the 96's and pull 28-30psi of boost at the same time makes me want to keep them in there.
  8. Its funny you say that. I was messing with that last week. I will let you know. I am actually supposed to drive the car over to clearwater and meet up with FIP Fellows Ed and Scott and have dyno meet.
  9. Make sure the lights are off! Hey What Do You Want? This is what I got for you!..... http://www.davesguns.com/serverpics/FirearmsPage/Glock-19-.jpg My buddy My buddy....wherever I go.....He Goes!
  10. Haha I did that when I first put the Hurricane MPI with t70 turbo, went down the street and powershifted....I cracked the case and left a nice gear oil trail all the way to my house....hehe! :hmm3grin2orange:
  11. Thanks man, I appreciate it. if the 87's are worthy let me know so I can look at em. I can always source out the rear end and tranny stuff from other members here.
  12. Jimmy, I had the same problem on my dell laptop. It is basically an error in the boot section of your hard drive. It does not necessiraly mean that you have a failed hard drive, but it could simply be a corrupted boot sector, and I simply reinstalled another copy of XP and it revived the computer, and it also saved the old files on the hard drive so I could access them and bring them to the new OS copy. The applications you had have to be reinstalled but files like pictures and music etc etc can be accessed, atleast in my case thats what happened. Drop in XP CD and start the computer.
  13. Sorry guys but KYB is not going to remanufacture these shocks/struts. They need at least 1000 sets. They do not invest in low market cars at all and it is not in their best interest. Other chinese manufacturers also need a minimum 300 sets and I can not trust their quality. For now, I will stick with monroe or gabriel, sad to say but thats the only choice I have got. Good luck to all MODS PLEASE DELETE THIS GP
  14. Ill take a roller if it has all interior pieces with tranny and the rest of the drivetrain intact--definitley no rust.....
  15. I'm sure u know that 88-89 are not flatty
  16. Im in the market for another one in good body shape but in need of mechanical work, perhaps even a roller in FL or GA.
  17. Looks like he has the heads up on outsourcing the job, which is exactly the same thing I am trying to do, but 300 sets minimum for most of these suppliers makes it hard for me to pursue (at least around $60k investment), specially when only 15 people have shown interest in purchasing an entire set.
  18. Lots of interest from locals, but I got cash in my hand ready to buy as soon as he lets me know whats up
