Personal preference. I just like the header panel as for the lights ... if I wanted a Nissan 300ZX I would have bought one (sorry my opinion). Jay

I like the style of this one as well. Will it really matter if it is functional? Is there going to be enough air moving through there to cool the engine down any? I do not know much about air cooling but like the '83 hood I can not see that much air getting in there to make a difference. I only say this because you would have to make the holes so small so not too much road dust and debris gets in there. Again just asking because I really do not know anything except that this looks awesome! Jay

According to the guy it will. I am really wanting to get a box back in the car. I had to trade my two 12" woofer and fosgate amp for work that had to be done on the car last year, money was tight at the time and the stereo seemed less important at the time. I just do not want immediate gradification to outwiegh sensibleness. So if this is decent and going to give me some nice throaty bass I will settle with it for now & like you said upgrade next year. But if this setup isn't going to give me what I am looking for then I will save the cash & keep looking. Jay

Do you thing I should spend a little more on Fostgate, alpine or something else? I do not mind OKAY for now but in the near future I do not want to be kicking myself for not going higher end. Thanks, Jay

I came across this in the for sale section & I was wondering if you guys could tell me if it is any good. I want a nice setup for a decent price but I also know that with stereo equipment you get what you pay for (i.e. the more expensive the better) Two 12" Kicker CompVr's and a Memphis 500d amplifier w/ box for $300 Please let me know. I like bass & will be putting in a new amp (Tim C's) but would not like to have to install another battery (I have a 900 cold cranking 1000 warm cranking battery now.)
