  1. I need this thing...(picture is off google) Its on the transmission, and its what the speedo cable threads onto. Also need the rubber boot for the top of the transmission tunnel where the shifter comes through. (Pic is also from google) Shoot me a price shipped to 98512.   2. not quite sure if u just copied and pasted that reply from a couple different threads...but it didnt have anything to do with what my original post was saying.
  3. Looking for a working replacement knockbox for my 87 starion. If its an 88+ it needs to have both ends of the plug. Will need to be shipped to 98512. Sometimes my car will start and run fine, then out of nowhere it will die, and when i go to crank it over tach doesnt move. Also getting no spark from the coil when this happens. All the grounds are in great shape. and the plug looks to be in good shape aswell, contacts are shiney etc. Probably going to try opening up my stock knockbox and see if there are any soldered points that are cracked or failed. Would still like a replacement if something catastrophic happens lol.
  4. I was dailying this thing at 20 psi last year, and recently decided to drop it down to 16-18. TEP cam, prepped rods, chrome rings, ARP head studs, heavy duty valve springs/keepers/retainers, non jet head, balance shaft elimination. MSD ignition, stock fuel system. 14g sport turbo. greddy type s bov.

Alright, so made a little progress... the car drives fine in the city...can boost 16-18 and hold it. no probs with idle or anything...but if i get on the hwy for anything more than a minute or 2 it starts to die off, and if i try giving it throttle to keep it running it just backfires....really strange that it can drive in the city with no problems. but when i get up to 60+ for a minute or 2 it does this...
  6. Plug that goes into the resistors looks great, everythings shiny. Im stumped with this thing...
  7. leads are new, injectors were just cleaned and flowed. And yeah i read through that thread already. Im tracking down grounds, but its a pain in the tail finding them. the pictures in the book are very pixelated and its hard to see where is what lol. is there a ground that would effect the ignition and fuel system but not the electrical in the cab?
  8. So ive got an 87 with typical add ons. Ran fine a few weeks ago, then it developed this strange cut out and stumble. Long story short ive found whats wrong...sorta... seems my injectors are losing power randomly. I freshened up just about everything in the fuel delivery system. Clean tank, filters, pump is pumping the volume, fpr showing 36 at idle and holds it. But the weird thing, the car will idle fine and i can rev it to the moon with no issues. (i know free revving a turbo is bad lol) But when im out to test it on the street, it will be fine...boost 18psi no prob. But then randomly (specially at highway speeds) when i get into it it starts to sputter, buck and backfire. Like its leaning out. Ive had the car sit n idle while i check power to the injectors, primary and secondary, and its weird, randomly the power will drop to nothing on the secondary. And every now n then it does it to the primary which causes the car to die almost instantly. Its gotta be a ground right? or is my ecu about ready to go? I pulled a plug when the power to my primary didnt come back and did a spark test, wasnt getting anything. but still had power to the car. But the power came back within a few minutes. Its really bugging me how randomly the power just drops. Im wondering what you guys think. Is there any typical problematic grounds? No vaccuum leaks, and all vaccuum lines are double checked. vacuum advance is working as it should. cap/rotor are new. plugs n wires are new.

  11. I just bought the TPS like 10 seconds ago. quick transaction and response time. Hopefully see the part soon and get my starion back on the road

  14. good luck with the tps, tons of people wanting 100-150 for ones with 100k+ miles on em ....its rediculous. just go down to the local wrecking yard and grab one off something random for $5 and make an adapter.

    87 TPS

    Opened mine up in hopes to r&r, turns out was missing a brush and 2nd one was almost gone. So im in need of a working condition used or new TPS for an 87 starion. Im located in Olympia, WA. shipping 98512.

  17. Looking for a complete or "near" complete MPI setup for my 87 starion. 14g with 89 ecu and 20 psi just isnt cuttin it anymore. Let me know what you got.
  18. i bought a new supply line, was 33 shipped 5 days later pump blew a seal haha. Thinkin at these prices its cheaper, easier, and quicker to just rebuild mine. Thanks though guys.
  19. Has it been rebuilt before? and mileage on it when it was pulled?
  20. Lookin for a working powersteering pump and steering box. Must be in good working shape, no leaks etc. Also wondering if the pumps are shared with any other cars?
  21. Coilovers available still? Shipped to Washington 98512. Also oil feed and return lines?
  22. Blew a strut, so looking to buy some new or used coilovers to replace mine. Going on an 87 starion. Let me know what you got.
