Ok... Thanks! It is the secondary injector that is stuck open. It freaked me out when I saw the gas. Taking a break from it till the weekend. Getting frustrated trying to get it back running. This is my first project car don't know what I would do if I hadn't found this forum. Lol. Thanks

Can an injector stuck open cause the intake to fill with gas? If so what do I need to do from this point? It never cranked just turned over and that's when the Gas filled up where the thermostat is. Strange?? Do I need to drain the oil?

Now I know that mystery to the other end. Lol Thanks

I took the distributer out to get to a nut on the bottom of the intake. Someone before me bugared up the wiring found some wires that have broken off. Wish people would do sh**t right. Not half a** grrrr

I have a timing light. That's my next step. I'm sure it's something simple.

Yes... I did have to take the distributer out to get to a bolt. Could I have screwed up putting it back in.?

Can someone point me in a direction to figure this out. OK the car ran fine until I had to replace the intake manifold I went ahead and rebuilt the throttle body, replaced the steering gear box, thermostat and belts. Also replaced the the valve cover gasket.. NOW. I can't get it to start. It's driving me nuts. What am I missing? This is my first project car that I am trying to do by myself. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

After lots of research.... I bought an electric impact gun. My air compressor wasn't strong enough for the Air Impact. Due to Christmas budget is tight so I bought it from Harbour Freight with a 2 year replacement warranty. It did the job and the steering gear box is on. Thanks for all the advice!
