The distribuiter on the pickup truck has a vac advance. the dist.on the turbo motor has a boost retard. swap the pickup dist out and use the conquest dist.. .toss the timeing mark out the window, mark your harmonic balancer , by taping it over find the center and use a protractor from your kids pencil case at 30* b.t.d.c....

I cleaned and powerwashed the engine compartment,. replaced altinator after i noticed diccharge, was charging at 15 volts for a few munites on a lo ba tof 12 v, now not charging at tis at 12v and droping concidering removing alt ... or is there something that i am missing the 5 fusable links seem fine. can you help thanks mike.

my first conquest. I payed $600.00 ......to bring it home, and $3000.00 to go frr my first ride in it. But , im hooked and in love withn it. Its by far the most fun car i ever owned. I still need a few parts, a front rim is keeping me under 75 mph for now. the hardest thing is puting on some miles without my foot geting heavy. Every time i push it it builds presure in the oil pan and pushes oil up and out of the fill tube. cant wait to get the rings to seet. I have 300 miles on it so far.
