Hey guys, was working on the car and my wires to my throttle sensor broke (throttle position sensor) and I suppose i should go shopping for a new one. was going over alot of the service manuals, and i was woundering if there were torque specs on these manifolds? if not im assuming that you tighten from the middle and go out wards

is there alot of condesation in your garage cus that can do it

what kinda of sealant should i use? and i can get that stuff at any parts store right?

Hey guys. still working on the car but was going over all bolts for tightnes and i checked the chamber cover lockated under the intake manafold. the bolt thats on the right side seemed stripped, was woundering if i needed to replace the gasket if i pulled it off and if so where i would order it from. please let me know about information you may have.

now that i got that figured out just gotta get my intack and exhost manifold back on and start her up and hopefully all is good

thank you very much. so you belive by me hooing it up and powering it threw the Gm maff would be a bad idea? i havnt hooked it up and drove withit on but if it works and drives good should i run it like that or you think ill just run into more problems?

my wires arnt mixed up ive tried hooking up direct power to the pink black wire from batery and it still wont go on. but when i put the power on the pink and black from the gm maf i get power

also there is power coming from the original maf plug its just not powering it up Also car has 88 ECU and im putting power to the GM maf senser plug. then i have full power to the translator

im not getting power to my maft when i hook it up. i was testing it and i can get it to go on giving it power from the batery. it will only be powerd from the plug into the maf not the stock connection , can anyone help me out. i was just going to wire it from my fan to give it ingition power and hook it up that way? will i run into problems? will this kill my translator ? havnt actuly hooked it up yet cus car is all aprart now but will soo n have back together. but im woundering if i hook it up that way will i run into problems? ill try and get some pictures up to better explain what im talking about
