  1. did have the car tracked both times the difference was i wasn't getting the instant hot air from the direct setup and was getting colder air that took longer to get there. cooler air makes more power yes but when it isn't getting there instantly you will feel like the cars not pulling as hard. just ask the flatty guys how there car acted after a intercooler install.
  2. how because you dont get the instant kick in the arss from the turbo going right to the intake compared to it going all the way through the intercooler which you dont feel as much
  3. when i put the intercooler in my car i lost seat of the pants feel but it dropped my et's and upped my trap speeds but sure as hell felt alot slower. and who in the hell took a grinder or sander to that flywheel. you can say you didn't but you can see the marks
  4. ok. i'm just stating the facts of what the difference was with my car which is also afew hundred pounds lighter then a wide. only thing i noticed with my car that was better with the stock flywheel was my 60ft.
  5. so your saying that at the track you know they would be the same even though you never took them to the track? freshly surfaced stock flywheel with a new broke in holding clutch ran slower constantly then the fidenza with a slipping clutch. there were no other changes to boost well the slipping clutch with the fidenza would just peak and drop but was still less pressure then the stock flywheel with a good clutch. also the stock flywheel was run on cooler nights in the fall and spring where as the fidenza was ran in the summer until my starter took out afew teeth on the ring gear.
  6. you want a starquest example my 83 has run a low of 15.1 at 95mph with a sliping clutch and a fidenza with the stocker back in and a new clutch could only make a best of 15.8 at 89mph.
  7. the 300 6 and 4 speed in that truck are pretty much bullit proof. also if you want bigger the trans will bolt right up to a 289/302 or 351 windsor so there swap idea's. i would give the motor a oil change, tune up and rebuild the carb and the thing will last for well over 400k miles with no issue's and if you feel like beatting the crap out of it the motor will take it and ask for more. beater trucks are great and with that one you can pull your car and still get decent gas mileage and not worry about it.
  8. no super chargers aren't upgradable. you can turn the boost up with a supercharger by just changing pulleys. if you want a upgrade you have to buy a new supercharger.
  9. simple fidenza and a 18g stock head stock manifolds on a 83 with a intercooler and a little slip in the clutch http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b128/klinkzor/video/th_Video000.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b128/klinkzor/video/th_Video001.jpg

  12. I've been going throw custody battles for the past 3 years with my wife and step daughter. for the most part it all depends on the judge you get not the laywers, what you can and cant prove it all comes down to the judge. Most male judges will award custody to the mom while female judges will go for the father. Also if you have a Guardian ad Litem make sure they do there job. The one we had screwed us by not doing her job 4 out of the 5 times we've been in court for custody we had 4 different male judges they all sided with me and the wife The last judge was a female and didn't listen to all parties involved. she listened to 7 people from there side and just me and my wife and i got 3 hole questions because the judge wanted to leave. That judge decided to give him who's had 17 different jobs in the past 2 years for no more then a week or two at a time. That didn't have a job at the time. she decided that we needed joint custody. Now the hole time the female Guardian ad Litem was begging for the joint custody arrangement the hole case and who also decided to take her family to his cook out the sunday before are case on monday. Now fast forward to child support. He wanted to try and get the child support dropped and try to collect it from us. the male judge ordered him to pay us still. If he tries to appeal the support order he is required to pay the back almost 3000 and another 5400 to us to be able to appeal. Now are problem is his wife's family is fairly well off and has ties to alot of people in the legal system around here Since it's been in joint custody my step daughter has been doing horrible in school on his weeks and does great still with us. She's also picking up bad habits of lying and cheating and is just becoming hostile, selfish and lazy. which all traits she never had with us but fits him to a T.
  13. thats not always the case. sometimes the starter gets just enough power to spin the starter gear but not throw it. i have had 2 battery cable in a dodge that corroded and would let the starter just spin and not engage. if it is a cold thing a simple test would be get a heat gun or propane torch and try heating the starter after you get the gear just spinning or try jumping the car off another. that should tell you if its the starter or a weak battery
