  1. Well, I know you might be wondering what the progress is on my car. At the moment I ran out of money and I also had to move my business. So for now I've put it on hold and I will try to get back on it soon. I will post anything I do as soon as possible.
  2. You should use Wilwood's reverse mounted swing pedals like I'm using. This way you can move the pedals back and the M/C are inside the car with no more clutter under the hood. You can make mounts off your knee bar you installed to support the pedals. Your other option is to purchase normal swing pedals and mount them to the firewall just like the factory ones do. Now they will not mount to the same locations, but with all the work you've done I think you could mount pedals. I've done this for years with dirt oval track cars and the same thing apply here. Take a look at a dirt super late model car at a local dirt track and you will see they all use reverse mounted swing pedals. Also look at how they mounted them. 3. Paypal sent!!!! This will be a great addition to my car. Thanks
  4. Jimmy, How many people are coming to the Showdown on Sunday with you? I would like to meet up with everyone sometime and check out everyones cars. I will be there some where around the guys from 4G Performance since their shop is next door to me. Let me know and I'll come by to meet everyone. Thanks, Andy owner of PHD (Performance Hose Distributing)
  5. I like the headlights!! That looks great. I might just have to do the same thing to mine, because yours looks so good.
  6. No, it's an aluminum drag cell from Summit. It just has foam inside but no bladder. It's the same as the plastic ones everybody runs but in aluminum, because these cars are hatchbacks I thought it would be easier than building something around it to meet some of the rules.
  7. $300 and man it must be my day because this engine had just been refreshened. After Mike @ 4G Perf and I finished looking at it last night, he said this was the best looking engine he's ever seen from a yard. It has new pistons, bearings, head, and much more. This was a deal!!!!!!!
  8. I found a complete engine this weekend, but it needs some work and we need to check it out. This will help me get the car finished quicker and I still have a back up block sitting here. We were going to make big power but I decided to tone it down some so I could get use to the car. Now we're just going to go with around 350hp to 400hp which is a good starting point. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm15/perfhosedist/IMG_7779.jpg http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm15/perfhosedist/IMG_7776.jpg I just started checking it out and this engine has a new head on it. Next I'll see how the bottom end looks later today or tomorrow.
  9. I like the recycle bin under the motor!
  10. I received a new item today and it's a 10 gal aluminum fuel cell. Now I just need to make some mounts. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm15/perfhosedist/IMG_7774.jpg
  11. I wish I could make it, so I could sit and talk with everyone. Anyway, I guess I'll just have to meet everyone at the track on Sunday.
  12. This is just one of the many items we're gathering for our project. It's a Tilton brake & clutch reverse mounted pedal. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm15/perfhosedist/IMG_7604.jpg http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm15/perfhosedist/IMG_7603.jpg
  13. I talked with a customer yesterday about hydraulic handbrakes and he said make sure you run separate calipers on the rear for it. It does mess with your brake system some if you just put it in-line. He said you can't left foot brake the car and pull the handbrake at the same time without it effecting the front brake.
  14. They make all kinds of M/C for use with a handbrake the problem is it's just easier to puchase a complete handbrake with M/C. Look a Wilwood for single M/C
