dang, this link is going to get me in trouble... I'm going to see how much i can spend before my wife notices

or you can use rear mr2 (or various others) inserts in rear non shp housings by welding the top half of a front strut on. Front struts have inserts, rear NON shp's dont. But they can be modded to... Does that make sense?
-
you can also use an extra set of fronts to modify the non shp rears to use other struts.
-
well that makes sense. I'll give that a try.

this should be a sticky -
there probably is that 5% of people that will think, uuuh son, check out that dope whip wit lambo doors. Its fosho. But there will be that 95% that think

lambo doors look rediculous on a lambo- not to mention a starion/conquest...

you got rid of your brake booster. I imagine the new intake was the cause of that. are you just doing manual brakes with the stock mastercylinder??

Yeah, that all sounds right. With my program it list my work steps on the left side. When i create an extrusion, it will show it on the left. If i right click it and can select delete or edit. If it was a 3d shape and i delete the extrusion, it turns back into a 2d shape. anywho.. Later Garrett

If i understand what exactly you are doing- it sounds like you want to start with a solid shape and (like the others said) extrude cut your features. If its say a 5 lug pattern, you can specify the dimension for the first hole (ie the diameter and the extrusion depth{"through all" i assume}). You should then be able to revolve the hole (create 4 others just like it) and dimension each with a specified distance from each other. you can send your drawing to me also. If it's saved in an industry standard, i'll be able to open it. I can read solidworks autocad ect.. theworldforx@gmail.com i do a fair bit of 3d modeling so i might be able to help. Let me know Garrett

If you just draw a circle in your desired diameter- then "extrude" it to your desired thickness, thats all you need to do. What program are you using?

question for members familiar with 4g63's/DSM's... I'm going to start a 4g63 swap- and am debating finding a whole dsm car to start with, or just the engine with a wiring harness. My basic questions is, if i find an engine with an uncut engine wiring harness(assuming that the engine is complete with the mas ect..)- if i applied power to the correct places i.e. the coil and ecu- would the engine run? I've gutted the car and am wiring the chassis with a painless wiring harness. As for the engine, id like to be able to use the dsm engine wiring and obd port for tuning with a dsmlink or equivilant. Just wondering if i'd be a mile ahead buying the whole car as opposed to a complete engine and uncut engine wiring harness. any input? HKS bov. Its been taken apart, powder coated and rebuilt with new parts. The bov is mounted to a flange- which is mounted to a tube that fits inside the stock intercooler tubing. All you have to do is cut through the stock ic tube, slip this in, tie into the vacuum line- boom, you're making noise... Gas tank from my 87' starion- Great condition, very little rust if any at all. Never clogged a fuel filter. This will be available for local pick up only (vancouver, wa 98686). Make an offer on it as i dont really know how much to ask for it http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/IMG_0280.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/IMG_0281.jpg

i'm just going to keep the car. I checked with the department of licensing and getting a title wont be hard. I didnt anticipate it being as tough as it is to sell for $500. but such is the case. -
I'll sell it shipped anywhere for $275.00 remember, this comes with the muffler. It's a complete setup from the turbo to the bumper.

I have brand new mitsubishi fuseable links in the package. All the links to replace the ones near the firewall. I dont recall exactly how many and which colors, but it should be one of every link to replace the ones by the firewall. I will look in tomorrow to see which ones and how many i have. I would like to trade for a brake master cylinder. Or make an offer to buy. I'll post pics tomorrow

Do you have a brake master cylinder? Dont need the booster, just the mc...

I'm not parting the car because for the extra money i might get out of the car for parting it i will have to spend countless hours removing parts packing parts, shipping parts, dealing with people ect... I am quite busy and dont think i can accomplish all that and feel like i came out ahead more than if i were to sell the whole thing for $500. Trust me, i really do not want to scrap the car (or even get rid of it for that matter). I vowed to myself i would never get rid of it. But realizing how difficult it might be to title it, finish the project, remodel my house and start a family i've decided that the most responsible thing i can do is to sell the car hopefully to someone that will enjoy it like i would have liked to. I hope you understand... http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/a0836665.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/38bc14a2.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/30efb0df.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/f08c4983.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c365/garrett350/0419d6d2.jpg
