  1. Here's a link to the craigslist post, need to get it sold as I'm needing the money to put towards starting a business. http://semo.craigslist.org/cto/4935056741.html
  2. Hey there, I haven't paid much attention to the starquest community in a while and am wondering if there have been any big things happening in the last couple years with our cars. I'm really interested in knowing what the go-to people/vendors/stores are for things these days.
  3. What's the deal with those Mookeh housings? Do they still involve welding?
  4. Well yeah, I don't expect it to match real well. I just figure it would look better than having the corner all mashed up.
  5. Thanks, I plan on getting a new red paint job at some point in the future (once I have a place with a garage) but wanted to replace a mashed fender with a matching part for the time being.
  6. Does anyone know what the difference in the red paint codes is? I'm wondering if a part from an '87 will match an '88. Will it even be a noticeable difference on a car that needs a paint job in the future anyway? '87 - R04 '88 - R04/PR2
  7. I'm also interested in the passenger side fender if it's still available. If so, is that able to be shipped by regular means?
  8. I abandoned conventional TV years ago.
  9. Hey, I was wondering if anyone was a member of racing-underground.com (and would be willing to PM me an invitation code). I'd be willing to trade for a demonoid code if you want as well. I was trying to find a place to keep up with WRC coverage this season (a friend pointed me to thebox.bz where I found the 2011 Sweden coverage) but would still like to check out racing-underground sometime.
  10. Hi I'm looking for a bell housing cover (inspection plate) w/bolts for an '88 manual transmission. The previous owner decided he didn't need to put that back on I guess, and it is no longer available from Mitsubishi. The part # is MD024264 if that's of any use. Here is the diagram from the FSM that shows it, it is #6 http://i.imgur.com/JOiUU.jpg
  11. I just have a text file on my computer that I try keep current with what I've done to the car, at what mileage, and with what parts/fluids.
  12. Yeah that's kinda what it sounded like, I'll probably do that soon.
  13. Hmm, mitsubishiparts.com says it's unable to get that part anymore (even though it lets me order it). Once they get my order cancelled I'll try that place you linked Caliber308.
  14. Thanks again! I guess the fact that the cover was in the engine section was why I wasn't finding it.
  15. That's some snappy service, thank you! You don't happen to know if there's a part # for the bolts that attach that item do you?
  16. So this is driving me crazy, my car's previous owner apparently changed the clutch and decided he didn't need to put the bell housing cover back on. I found this part a couple months ago but never got around to ordering it, now I can't find it in the parts manual even though it's clearly labeled in the FSM. Here is a link to the page in the FSM. http://i.imgur.com/JOiUU.jpg it is #6. I have no idea how I found it before, but mitsubishiparts.com had it in stock last time I checked, though I can't find it using their site either.
  17. Sounded to me like he was just shutting down his mechanic shop to focus on parts.
  18. Ah ok, looks like they changed the faceplate and the computer itself for '88, they have different part numbers.
  19. What year is that AC unit from? My '88 quest doesn't have silver on the buttons.
  20. Anyone have a flux capacitor for an '88, I think mine's shot.
  21. Looking for a primary cooling fan motor from a starquest or 1st gen DSM (would actually be preferable due to it being slightly newer). But not picky as long as it's one of these two, and it works. Shipping would be to 65775. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e82/silverquest/CF-00.jpg
  22. Heh, thanks, that's why I posted what side it was listed for here, I figured someone would correct me if it was wrong.
  23. someone should rip it into a torrent while it's up.
  24. Those coolcat sensors are a good price, but their cheapest shipping is $15, which seems excessive for a couple little sensors. Probably just going to replace with a couple of the Autozone "left-hand" sensors. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Duralast-Cooling-Fan-Switch-Radiator/1988-Chrysler-Conquest-Import/_/N-iucddZ9pd8z?counter=1&itemIdentifier=31713_0_0_3394
