Some say that on a racetrack, you can be faster and brake harder without ABS. But you have to really know what you're doing and be giving it the business for that to make much of a difference.

So I started hearing a funny noise coming from the passenger's side of the engine compartment and went under the hood to check it out. Turns out one of the exhaust manifold studs was not a stud... it was a bolt. The bolt had stripped the threads in the head and left a gap between the head and the manifold which is what I'm guessing was causing the noise. The bolt was pretty much undamaged but I ran it through a re-threader anyways and tried to tap the hole where there is supposed to be a stud. The bolt won't thread back into the hole anymore; it goes in finger tight and then when I stick a socket on and tighten it, it pops out again. Now I need help. My Starion is my daily driver and I need this fixed pronto. Question 1: Why the f*** wasn't there a stud in there? Question 2: Why didn't I realize that this was the only hole with a bolt in it earlier? Question 3: How do I fix this? Continue doing it the wrong way and find longer bolt? Replace bolt with stud? Buy whole new head and do it right the first time around (not really an option right now)? Question 4: Why the f*** wasn't there a stud in there? Please help! I really doubt Mitsu leaves the states next year. Yes they're struggling, but my dad works for them and has heard and seen nothing of the sort. I keep telling him that they need to make better looking cars but sadly he has no control over that. =/

need more hood vents! and if you can fab stuff then you could fab some shrouds to direct air to the important places instead of allowing it to go where it wants.

i dont really like mine. ive got the eibach pro kit springs and mookeehs in the rear and the car is already starting to sag and bottom out on certain bumps. I think theyve been on for about 7-800 miles.

My favorite MCM is the one where they buy little electric fan charger kits off of ebay and dyno them to see if they make as much power as promised. They don't. They actually made more horsepower by mounting leafblowers on the hood and blowing air into the intake. Hilarious episode.

Dang Jared, I'm really sorry to hear about your kid. Your build was one of my favorites, as you may remember I love the black and gold 4g. Your car is really clean. I would really recommend selling it whole if at all possible. Most cars that get parted out end up rotting away somewhere. If all it needs is engine and tranny, you can definitely get $1000 for it me thinks being that it's so clean. Again, really sorry to hear about your kid. Good luck maestro. -Harrison

Definitely go here! My girlfriend lives in Seattle and she took me when I went to visit. It was fantastic. Great selection of cars and a really cool building as well.

dammit. i wont be able to make it this year sadly. I got an internship up here in washington and my car will be up here with me for the rest of the school year.
