  1. Ok here's the setup: 1989 Chrysler Conquest with rebuilt g54b. Remaned forged crank, clevite 77 rods and mains bearings, ARP rod bolts, ARP cylinder head studs, Felpro head gasket, Reconditioned rods, stock turbo pistons, Aftermarket non-jet head, new distributor cap, MSD blaster 2 ignition coil, Fidanza 10.5 lbs racing flywheel, XTD stage 3 six puck racing clutch, New water pump, complete balance shaft removal kit, Valves reseated, stock TD05 turbocharger (15 psi of boost), Ford injector clips, custom rubber hose turbo coolant line, knock off RFL BOV, A pod pillar with boost guage and LED air/fuel ratio meter, 2.5'' straight pipe exhaust, New thermostat. Missing passenger window which is included in sale (I have one just need to be installed). Needs complete new hatch. Also the front air dam is long gone. Has some electrical that needs to be done but was running when garaged. Recently bought a used ECU for it as original stopped responding. Only 10 miles on rebuilt engine before a valve gasket went bad and leaked oil very badly. Since was garaged. a new valve cover gasket is $12.99 at autozone. There are some scratches and dents in the paint and the tail lights are cracked but no white light shows. Previous owner completely bypassed EGR system. No stereo or speakers in car. Digital climate control system. Original 16'' alloy rims. Transmission needs linkages adjusted to shift into 4th gear. Any questions will be answered as best as i can. I'm looking for a reasnoble offer for the whole thing. This car is negotiable as i'm selling it so i can buy a 3000gt vr4 from a friend. Make me an offer. I sorta have title in hand. Girlfriend's 2 year old daught got into the drawers where i keep my titles and they are now missing.   2. I do have the ac condensor I will have to pull it and get it weighed kf4eok. As for the fuel pump that might be a while till I drop that tank. The ac lines and pressure switches should still be there so let me start pulling these parts. I have the stock oil feed lines for the turbo.
  3. from the time that we dropped the engine back in to the car and started it at my friends house and drove it approximately 4 miles to my other friends house. then from there another 2 miles to my house where after parking it started to do some electrical work on it and that's when i accidentally shorted the ECU. I know i'm a dumba** for not unhooking the ground. You live and learn. The Rebuilt engine has around 6 to 8 miles on it since i don't know the exact messurements. Before it was rebuilt it only had 96,000 miles. I might also add it has a brand new water pump. I'm pretty much selling everything such as the alternator and starter which both checked out good at autozone. I'm selling the power steering pump too but not the brake master or the power steering booster cause those will be relocated to fit the new engine in. Pretty much everything G54b related that i don't need is for sale. I have intercooler piping done by original owner and i've been told i have a 1g mas with a k&n air filter. Stock intercooler with a knock off RFL BOV. I should state that the ported and polished head and the 6 injector intake i had is sold to a friend that has a mighty max project around here so the cylinder head that is being sold with the engine is only a 400 dollar non jet that i bought. I can't remember if it is a marnal or not i bought it 2 yrs ago. The intake is a backup stock manifold that i kept around. The turbo is a stock turbo that my friend had for his mighty max project. I sold him the turbo that i was running for cash and his stock turbo for his project. I don't know much about this stock turbo he traded me. I haven't had the chance to see it in action since the ECU shorted so the turbo is a sold as is and buyer beware! I'm unsure if i'm selling the radiator but it is in rusted condition so it's not worth much any way. 81zfan if i don't get a decent deal on the engine i probably will be parting it out.
  4. I have 2 4.6 complete engines that were given to me both running and i'm not messing with this g54b anymore. What exactly should i be planning ahead for? I know i'm gonna have to make my own motor mounts but i also need a transmission to mount up to this 4.6 as well. Would the factory gauge cluster from my quest be able to be wired into this wiring harness? so many other questions but i'll wait on those...

  6. I am parting out everything out of my 89 starquest that will not be needed for my v-8 swap. Up for grabs is the original intake manifold, turbo and manifold, the engine as a whole preferrably (which consists of an aftermarket non-jet head, forged crank, clevitte rods and mains, ARP head studs, ARP rod bolts, fidanza flywheel, reconditioned rods, stock pistons, stock cam and valves). Best offer gets it. Let me know what you need and we will work out a price. The only thing that went wrong was the ECU shorted
  7. Why didn't i just go mpi? that's what it is. It's my stock TBI with 4 more injectors added MPI with fuel rail and everything. The TBI runs normal but as soon as it starts boosting the 4 other injectors kick in. I only had to pay $250 for that intake setup thru the performance shop but it also helps that i know the guy personally and how would $400 be a profit when i have forged crank with race prepped rods, clevite 77 rod and mains with arp rod and mains. plus the manifold work, the aftermarket head plus everything else? now how would that be profit? I would be losing money now wouldn't I? why are you guys taking it so seriously and being so hateful about it? i never expected this engine to push more than 500 hp if even that? that list like i said is just a joke but, STOP TAKING IT SO SERIOUSLY AND STOP BEING SO PESSIMISTIC!!!
  8. you guys are taking the Total list too far into reallity. I never said i was gonna achieve it and i know its not a real world situation it was just a list that i had made up a while back for fun. it's a useless list kinda meant to get picked at lol. i don't actually plan on acheiving all that and i'll try and get pics when i can on that 6 injector setup. it's the stock tbi with 4 more injectors mounted like a mpi but only use the 4 injectors when it actually starts boosting. again you guys take this list to seriously. It's just a plain bs list! its just for fun honestly there is no intention behind it

  16. i know that... i bought it like that... the passenger window and rear hatch were both shot out... previous owner had gotten into some stuff he shouldn't have... so he sold me this car running title and all for 200 bucks... i wasn't gonna pass that up
  17. lol i've learned that if i set my goals extremely high i know i won't get it all but still ongoing believe me i know that i won't get all that but it's nice to dream u ask me what i want to use the car for and honestly i couldn't give you an answer... but i like the starquests alot and since i already have a few other vehicles it would be a show car with the balls to back it up... even though chrome don't get you home lol the electric supercharger on that list was an old joke that i still like to remember and why not LED'S they are cheap and easy to come by I never said i was gonna obtain everything on that list it's just a list it doesn't need to be looked down upon i could be talking about a honda with a b16 a cold air intake and a fart cannon saying it's the fastest on the street! lol there is always worse stuff to criticize

  20. Previous owner had enemies... Need a whole rear hatch (glass, struts, spoiler with tail light), Passenger window, and a driver side mirror, and a set of tail lights that are not cracked... also an 83 hood with the scoop if anyone has one of those??? silver colors are a plus
  21. im currently rebuilding my g54b. when i got to the main bolts i realized i didn't know what the torque numbers in ft lbs. was? does anyone know? I also need to know the torque in ft lbs. for the arp head studs that i have they forgot to put the instructions in the box lol?
