Any one tried this kit for there flywheel? its from forced performance. flywheel kit What do you think?

what stock dowel pin?? neither of my starions use a dowel pin for the stock flywheel. there is a hole in the cranks for one but not in the flywheels?? Is there supposed to be one??

ok info greatly appreciated. regretfully i will be holding off on the fidanza yet again. I new i had to heat it up but after seeing that drilling and grinding is involved i think this is something i will do with the motor out of the car besides i still have to track down the dowel pin, arp bolts, and that ring. Im still a bit lost on where to get the dowel pin part. Also why drill out the dowel pin hole if it is gonna expand anyway seems like it would defeat the purpose of having it. Just a thought. sorry a bit lost on that part. Ill read up some more but right now i only have a 30 day warranty on my trans rebuild so i gotta get some miles on it. oh and might as well get an 88 disc and pressure plate now that i have time. thanks guys.

i ve been getting mixed responses and need to know if the 87 clutch disc will work on the fidanza flywheel? i know it has two different bolt patterns on it, one which fits the 87 pressure plate. The clutch disc for the 87 seems slightly smaller than the clutch surface on the flywheel, maybe a 1\16 of an inch hanging off the surface over the bolt pattern of the flywheel all the way around. Now when i bought the flywheel it stated for an 85-89. Others only say for 88-89. Is there two different fidanzas out there? if i cant get a solid answer soon ill have to just leave the stock flywheel on and get my trans bolted up. it could be a year before i feel the need to unbolt that thing again

I ran into a snag on my trans rebuild. my trans guy broke a collar that holds some bearings or something to that nature. he got another from an 87 and it is the wrong part. I am clueless to what he is talking about. if anyone can shed some light on the situation, so maybe i can help to get this fixed. thanks any help is appreciated. pics added below.

I have an extra oven in the garage that will do the job nicely. Do i need an 88 clutch disc for this to work or will mine do? I have a stage 2 exedy clutch disc for an 87 flywheel.

Im actually buying the flywheel i just wanted to check and make sure it looked ok. is it possible to have this wheel resurfaced like the stocker or is it just a matter of replacing the disc? also will i have to buy another clutch since i have an 87 model clutch?

will it screw into a t3 turbo??
