  1. Dude I wish they would make a starquest hotwheels. Thanks man. yeah I did that about 12 years ago when i painted it. It really needs to be redone. i didnt weld it, lol just slapped bondo in there....it has cracks, honestly not as bad I it should be for what I put the car through.
  2. I just re did all the suede in my car this past year. After 5 years of driving, it faded quite horribly. I used automotive grade stuff this time, should last much longer.
  3. Nice man! Bout time someone else did something!
  4. Makes me want to cut my car apart again! Almost there man.
  5. Ok guys going to update this as soon as I get to a computer. I've reached my limit on these now and it I will NOT be taking any more deposits as of today. This is not to say I won't be making more, just not at this time. Autotr8er2, I will pm you later. Tankbob, a real body man could adhere these and blend them back in for a cleaner look. I'm out of town for the holidays and getting these out will be priority as soon as I get back.
  6. Thanks guys! Def one of my favorite written articles on the car. Mikes a super cool guy.
  7. Turbo- I would if I didn't need the money so bad. Its kinda looking like first one to get their taxes done this year wins.. haha Your welcome government.. Decisions decisions man! Problem is with the widebody fenders, the REARS fit on the front perfect... would need to re barrel to make the rears work.
  8. Updated. Sorry about the full inbox. Didn't see it!
  9. THANKS GUYS! Its so humbling hearing how I inspire guys to work on their cars. I remember the first Pigeon Forge event I went to with Dave, way back when...I was so inspired by seeing everyones cars.. I left there so determined to finish my car. (even though it took 3 more years to do it) lol As for whats next...More power, more, better aero. idk about a LS7...while sounds fun...I'm still ballin on a budget..so we'll see. haha
  10. Finally got a feature on Speedhunters! Another goal checked! Try'n to bring that resale value up! http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/12/super-starion-the-car-that-does-everything/
  11. With tires they are around 50lbs for the rears, fronts a little less. They aren't "light" by any means, but not too bad. Its a very good price for them, they aren't perfect, but you cant find them in this width and bolt pattern. Rare to say the least.
  12. I hate to do this, but the race car needs a bigger motor. Selling my vintage HRE 505s. 17x9.5 fronts and 17x11.5 rears Bolt on awesomeness. They are perfect for your starquest. You will need to roll you fenders. They come with Nitto NT-05's 255 fronts and 275 rears, still in very decent shape. The rear inner barrels have been professionally repaired due to small cracks on the lips. I have been racing and daily driving on them like this for years. The outer barrels are perfect on 3 of them, with a small chip in the powdercoat on one of the rears (hardly noticable). The price is $2000 plus shipping/paypal/ tire removal. The tires are free and price will not change without them. I will not take a penny less so don't ask. No trades.. unless you have a 600hp ls3 laying around, then yes I will trade you. Local pickup is preferred. LA socal area. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/IMAG1624_zps25c9fcc6.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/IMAG1075_zps128b08c9.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/IMAG1467_zps06848970.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/20130110_101340.jpg
  13. They could be made to work on a flatty. You would have to build some sort of support bracket for the front lower mounting points...same for the rear. Nothings impossible. Most likely adding weight...but not much. I'll put you down.
  14. They are made out of fiberglass. I used a vibrating saw to cut them. Anything will work. You can get one from harbor freight for close to nothing.
  15. No problem, I know the timing isnt perfect for everyone with the holiday season. Thanks man, I appreciate it. Terry is a great guy. They will be easiest for sure. I will put you on the list. I'll take some pics tomorrow, basically as you can see the small flat in the picture where they meet the body..that edge will be long so you can fit them to your liking. There will be lines on them where I trimmed mine, but will need to be trimmed and sanded to exact fitment. As every car may be different. As far as cutting your car, thats also up to you... I can post all pics of what I've done here for reference. The holes will not be drilled in the fenders because the hardware will very depending on preference. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/IMAG2120_zps9abe9c8c.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG2109_zps3da6ef55.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG2148_zpsb26a0438.jpg
  16. They can. I used allens, depending on your car, rivits would be the easiest, as cars that aren't gutted will be difficult to get to all the nuts.
  17. I want to get a list of guys interested in these that are serious about purchasing. I am currently making them in very low numbers and have 2 sets almost ready to ship. The price is $2300 plus shipping. They will be trimmed long and will need to be professionally installed. They will be coming straight out of the molds. As of right now I'm looking to do 5 Sets.. $1000 deposit due immediately. Please let me know if your interested and serious. These are not for the faint of heart or the "purists" by any means. A LOT of cutting is required. These will make your car 6" wider overall and will allow for 335s in the rear, 315s up front, depending on your wheels. UPDATE! Those who have sent deposits, please send final payments as soon as possible, I will be ready to ship in the next few weeks and can provide quotes as soon as they are boxed up! As far as shipping: I am building frames inside the boxes to ensure strength and safety of the parts. They will be stamped fragile and insurance can be provided at your expense. I'm searching every shipping method available to make this as cheap as possible for you guys. If you have a business address to send them to, it will reduce the cost. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/DSC_3440_zpsc0b1fb67.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG2164_zps8a05873d.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/DSC_3459_zps3f828a21.jpg http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/untitled-75-X3_zpsacf47935.jpg 1 Leefser------------Deposit sent 2 speedyquest 3 Tae ----------------Deposit sent 4 needsq------------Deposit sent I'm going to post these elsewhere in a few weeks, deposits will secure your set. Paypal is JLazorack@gmail.com
  18. Yes it is the APR GT250 wing. The wing mounts would be somewhere around $500 to make, and do require a bit of fabrication to mount to the bumper/ cage/ chassis. Yes the engine is out, and awaiting a rebuild as soon as I have some free time. That and a bunch of other rediculous stuff in the work. Stay tuned!
  19. Looks great man. Absolutely love it. 3.5" you say? I have the solution for that.
