  1. Does anyone have one in good shape ie: no broken tabs, still has trip meter post, all instruments work etc? Would prefer as low of mileage as possible but hey, I'll take what I can get. Thank you.
  2. Very interested in this car, I have cash. Please send me your phone number. Tx Ono
  3. Like it says fellas, I need a complete wiring harness for an 89. Thank you, Ono
  4. I'm not sure what you mean by state diploma. If your serious about joining go back to your recruiters office on Dec 29th. If that office is hurting for bodies (most are due to the time of year)and the RS (Recruiting Station) as a whole is hurting (Again, most will be due to time of year) they might make an exception. I know, I was "volentold" to be a recruiter (worst 3 yrs of an otherwise great 21 yr. career) and I saw some miracles happen when the CO's butt is inches from getting chewed and the Marine Corps itself is on the verge of not making mission (Getting all it's bodies in). It's a long shot because a lot of variables have to fall into place, but your absolute best chance of getting in will be at that time. That is provided that you meet all the other wickets besides your diploma ie: no drug use, surgeries, blah, blah, blah that would otherwise prevent you from making the cut. Be forewarned though, "IF" you make it in, be prepared to leave immediately.
  5. Good luck. Remember, if you let it get to you, it will. Keep your eye on the prize. Semper Fidelis! Ono MSgt(Ret) USMC
  6. Recruits go up to Pendleton for the rifle range and RFTD. There are no ranges on MCRD San Diego so they go up to Edson Range out by Los Flores.
  7. A small price to pay on their way to earning the tittle. Don't feel sorry for them, they asked for it and the end will justify the means. They might be second guessing themselves right now but in roughly 6 weeks they will graduate and it will have been all worth it. I say 6 weeks because the rifle range is roughly half way through recruit training unless they changed it. It was 23 yrs ago for me, so I could be wrong.
  8. How many feet does it take to do a whole engine compartment? 40 I'm assuming? Does that leave any spare just in case? Trying to think of what color would look best in a black and silver engine compartment....
  9. Bought a steering wheel from JahJah. Great cond and shipped it fast. Only problem is he has a weird paypal address that you have to look at twice to make sure it's going to the right place....What's up with ther splishy_splashy blah blah blah thing man? Just Kidd'in, thanks for a great part!

  14. I just bought what I thought was a 16G from MORJ for 250.00 but as it turns out, it was actually a 14G, freshly rebuilt and one he paid 725 bucks for. After he realized it wasn't a 16G he apologized repeatedly and offered a full refund. I told him it was okay, that the 14G was fine and we would just leave things as they were. He then told me he would refund some money in which I told him that wasn't necessary either, as I was getting a great deal. Well, today it showed up and man is it nice, and to my delight, he refunded 50.00. So not only did I get a perfect turbo for much cheaper then I could anywhere else, I got it for even less money than the original price. Hats off to a stand up guy! Thanks Richard, if there is ever anything I can help you out with, I'll be the first one to answer up.
  15. Hows the steering wheel look? If it's good I'll take it.

  17. Do you have a good black steering wheel?

  20. I doubt they are wearing a chute. Even a 80 square foot chute (what would be called a "postage stamp" or a "hankerchief") would take some altitude to open, (that's why as soon as a BASE jumper jumps you see them throwing out their pilot chute if it's not very high and that video isn't considered high for a parachute) but more importantly, if you fell before you opened you would have to be in stable free fall and be able to reach up or back (depending where the rip cord was) to deploy it. There is plenty of time for the chute to deploy in an ideal situation if they were using a little one but I doubt all the employees are trained in BASE jumping techniques, but it would make sense. Those guys have to make some fat cash, the only way you would ever get me that high and un-teathered would be to strap a rig on my back with enough altitude to safely pull. Crazy man, crazy.
  21. Please let me know if you have any. Thanks
