  5. i can get pics, and yes i can seperate. its raining today but i will try to get pics. the wiring is real clean. everything is still nice and long on wiring. basically i was asking 250 for each setup. injectors alone were 100 a peice. but are included with the fuel computer. i will probably let the distributor go with the ignition computer as it has the module in it and its locked for this setup. i will not be selling the tach adapter and msd box. will need those.

  10. I may be wrong, but I beleive that was a harness that delt with the injectors on the 83 models. The harness was peice you show was added as a fix. I again am not a hundred percent sure.
  11. Dang Tom, I feel your pain man. With me losing the car means nothing to a mans house. That car is simply replaceable, but a house has so much more in it, history, your belongings and everything you probably ever known. If there is anything I can do to help out let me know.
  12. I will not be updating this post any longer.
  13. Yeah Mad Dax dose some good work. I have seen this stuff in person and it looks alot better in person than in pictures. Keep up the good work.
  14. you need to try to bleed the lifters manually. take the lifters back out and there is a little hole you can put like a small paper clip in and press the lifter closed, when the oil pressure his them they will pump themselves back up. If that doesnt work, you can replace them, you can get them from a member on the board "DAD" aka Randy.
  15. Do the 1g mass swap, the link is pinned at the top of the flat body page
  16. I have a full set of brand new KYB Struts for the front and rear , A full set of what i think is one peice Kosmo Coil overs. Looking for 600.00 OBO plus shipping. I will have to get it packaged up and weigh it to find out shipping. I will get pics later tonight when I get home from work.
  17. hard to tune with a cheap ms system or fip system, it needs a system that can autotune to keep up with all the different varriants. weather changes affect it greatly as do different tempatures. once tuned for the day lets say it is good, but tomorrow you would have to tune some more, then so on. Yes the E85 car is still up and running but havent messed with it much lately. Been working too much and havent really had time, although the last time i had it out i had a cop come up behind me as i pulled in the driveway, and inquire about the car, got out and looked it over, I offered to let him drive it and he said he would but his boss lives like 5 doors down from me. "news to me"... But he knew it was a TSI and said he hadnt seen one in forever, so i just told him to walk out in the back yard and take a look. there are 14 others out there, He has dropped back by a few times to inquire about buyin one, and sayin that he would have to talk to his wife. Back on topic though, E85 seems to bring a whole new list of problems with it though, passing inspection is not difficult to do if tuned, even a little rich wasnt a problem for the old sniffer. Cold starts are a little challanging occasionally as it will flood easily. once started and up to about 150 degrees it is a little rough, but after that it smooths out and runs great. The extra fuel required is delivered by two 1600cc injectors. Was running two 95lbs that came with the FIP kit but was maxing them out around 4500 to 5000 rpms. So if you dont mind tunning it a little before you drive it you can get away with using a ms system, but if you are going to drive it every day, i would seriously reccomend getting a computer with a closed loop system that does its own tuning to a specific AFR. Since i dont drive the car every day, its not that big of a deal to me, and i have gotten pretty used to changing a couple of things and going in about 3 to 4 minutes of changing the computer, usually while the car warms up.
  18. Uh Oh Dan is going to be coming out by my house then. Looks like i need to finnish assembling the parts in these two crates. Brians car is almost ready to go to the tuner. Just need to finnish up the exhaust and put new plugs and wires on.
