Just WHY would you go with an American Turbo charged engine.. WHY?..
jettajody
Is that the same motor they used in the Buick Grand National? Just WHY would you go with an American Turbo charged engine.. WHY?.. Grand National is a 3.8 V6 turbo charged and intercooled. The Syclone/Typhoon is a larger V6 4.3 MPI turbo charged and intercooled. If you were going to do a American swap that would be the one though or either....

Strikeking10
Is that the same motor they used in the Buick Grand National? Just WHY would you go with an American Turbo charged engine.. WHY?.. The 1986 Grand National and 1987 GNX were both under 5 secs 0-60 the GNX was the worlds fastest 0-60 car in 1987 with a 4.5sec 0-60 (with a 4 speed auto) and yet they both look like just a regular old buick so they would be ideal turbo engines to swap.
