Just a lil update, Southbend stage 3 clutch took a s*** on me last week. I gave Southbend a call, there customer svc is by far thebest I've evar dealt with. I explain to him what was going on, he told me to send it in so they could do.a test on it. He said depending on the outcome if they can't warranty it, he will give me a deal on another kit. So he ended up charging me 125.00 for a stage 4 upgrade. I thought that was pretty freaking schweet. So I have to get the flywheel resurfaced and put back together.

As often as you've had tranmissions in and out of the car... do you have quick disconnect fittings on everything.... LOL

There is really none. The only thing to disconnect is the reverse light plug and speed sender, everything else is straightforward.

Got it dyno'd today, it made 467hp and 337tq @20 lbs. If i had a little more time and turn't the boost up i could have been in the 500 territory but im satisfied with the results (for now  ) I started with mid 200s and with a couple adj on the safc i got those results. I did 4 pulls. I don't think its to shabby for an ebay turbo.

That thing is gonna be nasty...Don't rip the rear out of it though.

Which injectors/fuel combo were these numbers on Serp?

Lol im gonna do my best not to. 1000cc inj, single walbro pump, -10an dual feed. All my settings on the safc are around -38% so I have plenty adj for fuel.

That's intense, those HP numbers just climb. Any reason the TQ is kinda low? Seems like there should be a lot more in there.

Not sure why the torque is so low but I wonder if it has to do with which gear he was in. I would think if it was done in 4th it would have looked better since its more of a load on the motor.

Desert_Starions old neighbor swapped a 2JZ into his, he lives in Phoenix. I've never seen him online though.

Other than that, I can only think of Tony at UMS who bought his daughter a SQ. He mentioned wanting to drop a twin turbo 350z motor into it.

If you meant is anyone doing this sort of thing with 2JZ's in general, then yes. AZ has some of the fastest supra's in the country, with a few shops who build them.

yeah dude, george ended up selling his starion before he finished the 2jz swap last time I talked to him... I think he said he bought a cyclone or typhoon.
