Jacob T Conquest
Bought new clips, what way to the wires connect? they are both white. Mine is an 89' and the stock wire is white and green for the secondary and white and black for the primary. Hope it helps. JAinsworth
It doesn't matter which way you wire it. It will work either way. Jimmy
Jacob T Conquest
It doesn't matter which way you wire it. It will work either way. Jimmy How is that? I thought that would effect which fires when! Doesn't the secondary only come in to aid the primary when accelerating??

JAinsworth
It matters which clip goes on which injector if it has a primary and secondary but not which of the two wires for each inj. goes to the two white wires. Jimmy
Killtodie
Yup. I got it, there is no positive/negative, just primary/secondary
Indiana
There actually is a positive and negative but it won't matter how they are connected at the injector because its just a solenoid and it will work its like you can't wire up a light bulb backwards it will work either way. There is one positive per injector and you can verify that with a volt meter or test light all you need do is turn on the ignition key but you have to use a known ground not another injector wire because the ECU only makes the ground when they are fired.
