Convette Posted September 14, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2010 I doubt it. Its really tough to do, its no wonder why places charge so much to do stuff. I spent around $100 just to do those parts, and still need more material. Seats would be way harder because of how they are bound. We're just using a friend of hers sewing machine, its not a really good one. You need a special kind of machine (overlock? I think) to do seats as the material is much thicker. Still not set on a material color or type yet though. Thought if she were interested and could use some extra cash I'd might as well send the money your way as opposed to somewhere else. Works been killing me latley, haven't had much time to do anything. Ran some more wires, Dave's coming over tonight again to lend a hand, hopefully we can get it going this weekend. I ordered some gauges today, still need a tach and some other random things.
