TEPzdabom Posted May 13, 2003 Report Share Posted May 13, 2003 I have been visiting this site for a while and see may great people and businesses all invested in the advancement of these great vehicles we own,I also have seen a few people who make items and sell them here for all of us to benefit from,BUT i think it takes a small minded person or just plain outright ignorant personality to copy a company's design and sell it for their own profeit while degradeing the company that designed it every chance that is available to them while every transaction cannot be flawless in every individual case,and someone will always have some complaint no matter what is done give it a rest I have purchased items from Top End Performance and while the price was up there i was happy with the product itself, and i am not talking about a set of injector clips and a couple of Silicon couplings,I have spent a couple grand and recieved exactly what i paid for and itwas a quality product along with it,if you really think about it if their products were junk or of bad quality they would not be in business nor would people COPY their products to sell for their own profeit and gain's would they? it would make no sense,If you have a bad expierence with a company give them a chance to rectify it and if they make no attempt to then state your complaint and move on,why bad mouth a company and in turn COPY their product thet designed and sell it and continue to bad mouth the people who helped you make a ton of money off their time,effort and design Just say thanks and move on I have not personally purchased any of the copies of TEP's product's so i cannot comment on the quality or craftsmanship but i am sure it is of near the same as TEP would sell you because after all the design was stolen from a place that took the time and effort to make something for us to help our vehicles perform better when nothing was available anywhere before so i would just like to say be happy you can make money off of stealing someone else's hard work and dedication to these vehicles and give the bad mouthing a rest because it makes you look childish and envious of not haveing the smarts to do design it yourself i am sure this will be deleted after the elite group see it but atleast some exposure will have been made Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is not true. In an industry such as this, TEP has a larger market than just starquest to survive on. If they effectively market thier products, they can afford to screw every customer they deal with and still make profits. They do not have to rely on repeat customers. I am not a kiss up to anyone so i guess thats a big NO NO if i want to be heard, and the items are 2.5 inch down pipe OVC pipe Hard pipe set's air inlet hard pipe i thought this was a forum for telling it like it is???????????? if it is deleted then i guess thie person is GUILTY! and you have to be one of the elite to be able to be heard HA??????????? prove that i am wrong with this statement about the items that are listed I have a clear concience and thats alot more then the person that is doing the copying, its no different then pirate DVD"s or CD's,stealing someone's design's are no different!!!!theft is theft whatever the reason being!!!!! if it wasnt for all the degradeing statements about the people who designed these items it would not have bothered,but if he is copying their design's then they cannot be what he say's they are can they??????????? their design was good enough to make money for him ha,and the price difference is only 30.00 big deal,i would rather put the money in the hand's of the people who made it to begin with instead of a pirate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But why doesnt the master speak????and yes it is just pipe,and anyone can buy pipeing anywhere. But the lord of DA bender didnt design it,he simply copied it and seems to think since he bends them that somehow they are superior to the original's that he had no hand in on makeing. How do you know improvements have not been made to the original? How do support that its a copy? You seem to be doing a lot of crying cause somebody is bad mouthing TEP. Did you check out the posts about TEP? Did you read about the car fire? It's obvious that thier performance didn't impress you too much cause you didn't have anything nice to say in thier post. : I think you should have posted in the BS forum cause your not really giving any feed back here. So your saying that TEP should have the monopoly on the market and be the only person/company making products for our cars? No options but TEP, eh? I say, Go stick it up your poop shoot, because I'm in a free country and don't have to bow to 'the man'. If you want to pay for overpriced products, poor quality labour and the rudest customer relations I have ever dealt with, go right ahead.
