sellerfeller Posted September 1, 2009 Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 got mine in last week.... whew... finally got it in the quest after replacing a couple of broken exhaust manifold studs, 1 needed helicoil. exhaust gasket was leaking anyway. and i thought this would be a fairly quick install. found good size crack in manifold and a wasted universal joint. reloladed with 2 of the GM399 u-joints and driveshaft turned out great. http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/083109aM_042.jpg so did the exhaust!! http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/083109aM_027.jpg i would recommend these to anyone... they're awesome and an easy install. mine has an issue with the 2nd bung though. gonna have to cut and bend heat shield or weld another bung for wideband O2. had to buy longer stainless bolts. anyway, these are awesome 101! turbo spools up really quick now. sounds great too... deep throaty tones. thanks again 101! YOU just might have installed it upside down :hmm3grin2orange: unless there is really a defect with YOUR particular part.... The welded rods are supposed to be on the top of the clamp (and the resonator), and the part that gets cinched down with the bolt and nut is on the bottom.
