ekstatixx Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 yeah im too much of an enthusiast i couldnt chop her up last year like planned. this car is still sitting. car does not run!!! needs to be towed it has sat for at l;east 3-4 years, and has been rolled twice 3 city blocks when i moved all pics here http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/eks...0Gray%20Starion $600 Once again and again and again, this car is for sale. It has a bad balance shaft, and supposedly has a bad alternator or fusable link. It hasnt been driven since i got it, so the battery is shot now too. she has a bit of rust, as you can see in the pictures, but for the price, this rare car is worth it. Basically couldn't I just eliminate the balance shafts altogether and fix the alt. issue and be good? In the process of purchasing a car right now, but if that falls through this looks like a great deal. I've liked these cars from day one. When is a good time to look at the car? I'm guessing though with the Balance Shaft issue it may need rebuilt? What I'm asking is did you ever hear it run? How quick would you need this car to go after a down payment? How quick would you need this car to go after a down payment? the car ran the day before i bought it. the balance shaft snapped and the car started to lose oil pressure. the car was driven home a very short distance and was turned off to not run again until the balance shaft could be replaced. it was put aside as a 3rd project and i never touched it. i have no idea in what condition the motor is in. i am only asking $600. no down payment. just come and give me $600 and you tow the car away. once it is warm out (if i have time) i will fix it all and put it for sale for at least $1500.
