Kane If you have a buddy with a ford truck ask to borrow his keys ... there is a good chance they will work. My key from my F-250 worked in my brothers F-250, but his didn't work in mine. FRO Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 I BELEVE THE NEWER FORDS COME CODED, THE DEALER CUTS THE KEY THEN CODES IT TO THE CAR, YOU HAVE TO BRING ALL THE KEYS TO DO THIS, OTHERWISE THE OLDER KEYS ARE WOTHLESS...
