csdisme
I got my head back today It had been hanging out with Brian at Lower Shores Performance while he made a few changes. He did a port and polish, installed titanium oversized valves, installed a custom grind Schneider cam plus all the supporting hardware. Brian was great through the whole process. I had a number of conversations with him before he would make any changes and he kept me updated through everything. Here are a few pics, there arent any "before" pictures, I think we all know what a new Marnal head looks like http://www.chaoticfrenzy.com/pics/headtop.JPG http://www.chaoticfrenzy.com/pics/bottom.JPG http://www.chaoticfrenzy.com/pics/intake.JPG http://www.chaoticfrenzy.com/pics/exhaust.JPG http://www.chaoticfrenzy.com/pics/chamber.JPG http://www.chaoticfrenzy.com/pics/port1.JPG Can't wait to get it installed :happy0030:

88blkiroc
Couldnt they cut back the valve guides a bit? That kinda looks like crap.

csdisme
looks dont matter :iagree: I'm not concerned with how "pretty" it is, just how functional it is. If I wanted pretty, I'd have the Wiseco's on a shelf and the Pauter's on display. :party0009: I do appreciate the comments though, even the negative ones
Maxzillian
Looks good to me! Personally I'd rather have longer valve guides than cut them back just to gain a few CFMs.

csdisme
hey how come one of the valves on yours is loose? mines the same way after i got my marnel back from the shop. Actually the valve is open. None of the valves are loose. It just happens to be on the high part on one of the lobes of the cam.
