FnFspeed Posted June 7, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2008 well its a little on the backburner right now but i am wiring in my 1jz right now engine is disassembled and cleaned ready to get back together and engine mounts are made currently has s13 front crossmember being modded to fit i actually had started this a while back, and need to make intercooler piping and finishing touches for the swap. really its a project i hope to drive this summer lol im really trying to stay ahead with it but there was a rush the last two months to get some cars done for the drift season lol. pretty much anything else is common stuff with it, moved dvd/radio to climate control position, moved climate control box and pad to ashtray position, made custom guage panel to house tru boost and oil pressure , fuel pump switch, and ecu cut off switch , hoping to start making rear lower control arms soon with spherical rod ends and adjustability and also try and make it into an unequal length control arm setup in the rear instead of the strut mounted rigidity, but i hope i can get pics up of progress here soon maybe start a build thread? lol oh well time for the bars Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

How long have you been doing it and how old are you out of curiousity? ive been in a shop since i was 15 and a line mechanic at independant shops when i was 18 then when i was 20 i went to good ole' wyotech, when i got back i worked at sound performance for bout a year then they didnt wanna pay me for the time i was putting in( 60 hrs a week at 40 hrs pay lame) then went back to the independant shops for bout a year while working at night at a shop called behind bars racecars building cages and turbo kits/headers for 8 and 7 second cars, finally haha i started my nissan/infiniti tech training and now am a full blown infiniti/ nissan master tech all that and im only 25 lol. ive made a lot of money and lost a bunch of real fast cars to build new ones time to start making that my own motivation.
