clbsinvaders
So I finally pull it out of the garage, only to find out there's a big freaking oil leak. No, the motor's not blown, just a lot of oil lost. It's coming from either the filter or just in front of the filter (closer towards the nose). Does anyone know what part may be leaking? I am so, so, so freaking close to having this completed; bleed brakes and run vacuum hose for boost gauge, and now this. Please help! It lost a half quart or more in the 2 minutes I had it running. PDX87Starion
Both my oil cooler hoses started leaking on mine. It was kinda hard to locate the leak too. I removed the lines cut off the factor crimp, and took them to a hydrolic hose place. They matched the hose and length and crimped them on the the factory fittings for about $20.00 (for both). Also could be o-rings in the oil filter adapter.
clbsinvaders
I should mention it's only when the car runs. Oil cooler lines?
scott87star
Mine was similar, somehow I must have bumped the oil cooler lines because I was able to torque them down to spec and they are fine. Scott
