Thinking more about it, it was a feeling at the time, but rationale set in and I thought how rare these cars are anyway, so I retract the crushing statement. Worst I'd do is part it out. I'm told it has a bit of a miss, but when timing was checked it was spot on. Not really sure why. I am located in Columbus, Ohio.

Columbus I need it gone. I don't care at this point, all potential buyers and trades have fallen through. I can't get another car until this is gone, so I'm kind of stuck, I have school/work to get to.

The only problems the car has is that the downpipe rattles when shut off and sometimes while driving, and will need drivers side rear suspension work/parts. Will need towed. Car does not drive due to sheared driver's side axle. The car will come with all extras I have for it, spare parts, etc. Comes with 1986 and 1987 FSM's, original front end bra with Starion printed on it, injector clips(all of those unused, uninstalled parts). Also, the radio signal cuts in and out, but I typically do not use it anyway, just my Ipod, works fine in that manner. I am looking for trades as well as cash offers, it must be comparable to the price I am selling at. No trucks. Beyond that, I'll take a look at it. Willing to deal. I have a lowest price in mind, just start at 2,000. 67k original, but 117k on new cluster. If it's not bought fairly soon, I will sell it for scrap. I am sick of having it in my driveway and will do just about anything to get it gone at this point. I am located in Columbus.

Everything works but the tach and oil pressure. The voltmeter is at the center line. Normal? I really don't know, my first quest, and it hasn't budged at all. When I first got it started, everything worked. Now, is it possible that it is the incorrect ECU hooked up? I have 2, and my friends went a little giddy swapping them out to see if that was the problem. One last question/statement: is there a thread in the FAQ to reading error codes?

Hey, my 86 is finally on the road, but there's no tach or oil pressure gauge working. New cluster. Same deal with the old one, no tach or oil pressure gauge working. This just happened all of a sudden. No reason why, either. Is there anything I can do? I have a track day Friday and I really want to run with a tach! Please help!

I need the gauge cluster for an 86 esi-r 5 speed. My friend broke it when he put in the boost gauge. I need the cluster itself, not the glass front or the surrounds or anything.

Hey I put the new autometer boost gauge in cluster, and now nothing works except the gas. I can't figure it out. The needles for all the gauges are staying at their lowest position, 0 for speedo, 0 for tach, and so on, and so forth. Everything is hooked back up, but now nothing reads at all. The car's an 86 ESi-R. Any ideas? Please share!

I need a set of Red or Maroon, not sure what interior color it's called, for my 1986 ESI-R. The 96 Accord floormats aren't cutting it. Let me know what you have!

So I finally pull it out of the garage, only to find out there's a big freaking oil leak. No, the motor's not blown, just a lot of oil lost. It's coming from either the filter or just in front of the filter (closer towards the nose). Does anyone know what part may be leaking? I am so, so, so freaking close to having this completed; bleed brakes and run vacuum hose for boost gauge, and now this. Please help! It lost a half quart or more in the 2 minutes I had it running.

So the master cylinder has just failed around the seals and is leaking and won't hold pressure, is what you're saying

Hey, first off I am making my '86 completely ready for summer. The only thing now is that it doesn't hold pressure in the brakes, and it is leaking fluid. I was checking to see where it was leaking, and it is coming (partially maybe, need to do a more thorough check on it) from what looks like between the brake booster and master cylinder, because it is leaking down the booster and dripping. Does anyone have any relation to this problem, tips or tricks to properly diagnose this? Do I need a new Master Cylinder or Brake Booster? I have none whatsoever experience with brakes. It is an 86 Starion, unmodified, everything is stock.

I have an 86 in Ohio. Black, 67k on it. No rust. Only mods are an AutoMeter in dash (boost), HKS turbo timer.

Price: $4k OBO. The only thing this car needs is a brake line. Other than that, it's completely original with the exception of an AutoMeter boost gauge in the cluster. Comes with a set of Fuzions (higher end...ZRi's I believe, over $450 new total&shipping) and an HKS Type-0. No rust, just an ugly sticker on the front. Typical dings and scratches, nothing major, though. Has been stored inside. Looking for something in the area of $4000 OBO/Trades for whatever, I'll consider anything. Located in Columbus, Ohio.
