here are the advantages of adjustable tension rods i found

dramatically increase handling, corner speed, and steering response

high rigidity pillow ball rods increase stability under heavy braking and straight line acceleration by reducing toe out and friction

turn buckle allows for easy simple adjustment in wheel alignment settings/changes

thanks,

Hey 101, looks good. Put me down for a set.

thanks for your interest.

they(technotoys) sell theirs for $80.00, how about $69.99 for mine? :)

Sounds good to me, I'm in for the roll center adjusters

P.S. you might start a new thread for them to make it easier to keep track of interested parties

I'm interested in one set, but have a question... will these raise the front end ride height by 1-inch (or whatever the final dimension is) with these installed?

If your talking about the Roll center adjusters, no, they won't raise the ride height, only the strut length ABOVE the spindle will raise the height, these go below the spindle. It moves the suspension arm down on the strut side. this is most useful for those with lowered cars, as it puts the suspension geometry closer to stock, including camber.

Thanks, D_Venable! That's what I was hoping to hear.

101, I'm definitely in for one set.

Thanks,

Dan

101 you can't make a custom pivot bracket to extend the threaded shaft for the pillow ball tention control rod? I was really hoping to use the bushing there as in your original first image. I think the bushing would provide some give for ride comfort for daily drivers. And use the metal washer for race setup. In otherwords make two brackets or one bracket that could handle metal washer or the bushing kit based on race/street setup. Let me know your opinion on this. Thanks

Perfect.... I'll take one of those. Solid metal bushings aren't allowed in ESP.

You can keep your poly bushings. I already have a set.

hello members,

today i worked on prototype mk1 adjustable end links.

check out the picture below and let me know what you think.

it is almost identical as the one in the picture sully provided but i think it needs LHD & RHD thread adjusters to avoid taking this link off for the adjustment.

let me know

thanks,

101

The rear pillow ball mounts listed on the site are NOT adjustable. I do however remember seeing some adjustable ones on Ebay last year

ah I thought those 4 holes where allen head bolts
