Guest Star-Orion
OK, gang, seems like we have one here, available for sale, and ready to ship out. In case you missed it, this is a 2 row aluminum radiator, crossflow design, much more efficient than a down-flow type. It has no fans, the fans would be up to you. http://usera.imagecave.com/jolyrgr/nokia_pics/rad001.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/jolyrgr/nokia_pics/rad002.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/jolyrgr/nokia_pics/rad003.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/jolyrgr/nokia_pics/rad004.jpg Mr. D Venable has our pilot unit in his car, and has been running it, so, if you have any questions about function or fitment, please drop him a line. $405, plus shipping, and paypal fees if that's how you pay. Please, if you have questions, do not hesitate to drop a line. Thanks, Tim and JR
sfc711
So these bolt in in stock location and use stock fans or what aftermarket fans would you suggest? THanks,GAry
Guest Star-Orion
Yep, bolts right in. Stock fans will not work with this, you will have to go aftermarket fans. I would just recommend going through Jeg's or Summit, and finding fans you like, and going with those. Lots of options from both of those vendors. Thanks, Tim

jolyrgr
The one for sale is from the last GP. It does have a drain in it, and has bushed threading for either 3/8" GM style sensor, or the factory fan switch. I need to get this going to fund future projects. This is a nice unit, and should solve any cooling issues in a working system. Summer isn't far away, is your car ready? JR
D_Venable
I have the prototype in my car, and this past Saturday I drove it 1.5 hours one way, then back the same distance (near 200 miles total) with only about 20 minutes stopped in between (met up with a fellow member to trade parts). It NEVER got near 1/2 on the temp gauge, and it only went near there when I'd come to stops and be waiting a minute or two. While cruising it was only about 1/8" above the 1/4 mark on the guage. THIS IS A GOOD PRODUCT! satisfied customerDerek P.S. free bump

D_Venable
Here are some pics from when I was installing it. http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF4674.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF4741.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF4782.jpg I got mine from Star-Orion with a fan setup on it (2950cfm thinks its a Perma Cool) due to the extra thickness of the radiator, it is a tight fit, but it fits. I'm using radiator hoses for the stock rad too, but the upper hose had to be stretched over the the rad fitting (I think they said they had a new hose to use, or where working on getting one to make the install even easier). And it clears the hood with no modifications  http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF4758.jpg Derek

D_Venable
the fan on mine has custom mounts on the rad for it, but it's an aluminum bladed Perma-Cool electric fan. don't know model or anything on it, JR might be able to shed some light on that, as I bought the rad and fan together from him. This fan flows 2950cfm, and only draws 12 amps, which has allowed me to run it off one of the stock/factory fan relays, with a different switch of course. But I guess it's a $120+ fan, but oh does it get that job done and then some
