night34606
How do I make one. Got no problem doing this if I can.
Mech
you need a piece of a Aluminum sheet metal that is not too flimsy, so that it collapses, but also not too thick that its difficult to work with. I dont know exactly what thickeness sheet metal i used. You could use steel , but it would much more difficult. heres how i made mine. remove the EGR valve. There should be an aluminum gasket to seal the valve. Use that as your template and outline the gasket, and the two mounting holes on the sheet metal. Using some tin/metal snips/cutter, cut out the plate, and drill out the two holes. Find some shorter bolts, and thats it. I guess its more diffcult if you dont have the sheetmetal and cutters handy. If its too much for you, then i can make you one send it to you for free.
