Up for sale is my 88 Starion with automactic trans

Everything works as it should from the factory, including A/C. Needs a charge now. Both doors probably need new locks. They just started to work intermittenly.

Car is my daily driver and can be driven anywhere!

Reason for selling: It sucks on gas! I only get around 16mpg. That is freaking bad for a 4 banger!

VIN: JA3CC54N3JZ024960. No Rust, No leaks, No issues.

 

Engine:

Rebuilt at 75k miles with the following new parts:

- Non-jetvalve head From Midwest Turbo

- Engine rebuild gasket set From Rockville Mitsu

- Oil pump From Rockville Mitsu

- Fuel pressure regulator From Rockville Mitsu

- Turbo oil feed line From Rockville Mitsu

- Knock sensor From Rockville Mitsu

- O2 sensor From Rockville Mitsu

- Exhaust manifold From Rockville Mitsu

- Fuel lines (in and out) From Rockville Mitsu

- ARP head studs From Engine Machine Service

- Complete camshaft timing kit From Engine Machine Service

- Timing chain kit From Engine Machine Service

- Sealed power main bearing set – standard From Engine Machine Service

- Sealed power rod bearing set – standard From Engine Machine Service

- Chrome moly ring set – stock replacement From Engine Machine Service

- Multi-layer steel head gasket From Quest Performance.com

- All accessory belts From TEP

- 8mm spark plug wires From TEP

- NGK BP7ES From TEP

- Oil return hose From Oscar

- Fuel Injectors were cleaned and Clips replaced

- Rodded radiator. Running cool as it should from the factory with A/C blowing!

- A/C converted to R134

- Upper and lower radiator hoses

- All electrical connections were removed, cleaned and upgraded where necessary

- TB rebuilt

 

Exhaust and Turbo:

- *DM 3†turbo back, no cat, with Magnaflow twin tips muffler

- 18G turbo from Forced Performance

- 1G MAS and K&N filter

 

Suspension:

All front suspension components were replaced with OEM parts:

- All front bushings were replaced

- Tie rod ends (outer left and right) MB412926

- Tie rod end (inner right) MB166981

- Tie rod end (inner left) MB169980

- Ball joint package MB185329

- Relay rod package MB489447

- Steering socket MB076639

- Pitman arm MB166900

- Idler arm MB347485

- Suspension Technique (green in color) front and rear sway bars and end-links

- Yokohama Avid V4S 245/50/16 on stock rear 8†wheel (less than 4k miles on the tires)

- Yokohama Avid V4S 225/50/16 on stock front 7†wheel (less than 4k miles on the tires)

 

Miscellaneous:

- Sonny deck with front AUX port for MP3 player or iPod

- Sonny rear speakers

- Infinity front component speakers

- Manual boost controller set at 14psi and pulls strong!!!

- Headlights converted to H4

- Grant steering wheel

- Rubber Antenna

it's hard to find one in this shape for that price in my opinion. then again, no one on here ever wants to spend more than ten bucks on a running car.

would you care to trade for and 89 shp black on black 112K miles perfect turbo ovcpipe and turbo xs BOV this car runs GREAT!! and get around 24miles a gallon if not better

it's a 5 speed....

let me know and i'll get ya pics....

only one problem with the car....the front bumper was crushed so i had a temperary black one put on until i get a brand new one

god i wish i had 3400$ so i can have another starquest...

i have only had mine since february and i want more! i want a figi, a red one, and silver one..i guess i'll have to wait till i'm in the army...

but on a great price for a nice starquest!!!!!

If I can get rid of my Civic before you sell this I will definately buy it. Your only an hour away as well. I'm ready to get back into another starquest. To bad you already have another daily driver or I would suggest a trade. I've got a 96 Civic EX 5-speed that gets over 30mpg in the city and almost 40 on the highway if anyone is interested.
