I was getting ready to sell this car in its previous state, but.

Due to some recent unfortunate events (not involving me, i'll spare the details), what was a very nice 1989 'quest TSi is now...not. At least as far as the front and front right corner goes.

Make me an Offer!

The car has 120,585 miles, and as far as I can tell, the motor and tranny should still be good.

The car in its former state can be seen at the link for my homepage in my signature.

And now to try and post up some pics. They are from my cell phone but i will try.

hope those worked.

What I would really like to see happen is someone else with a quest that needs glass, rear fenders, drivers door, some nice black leather interior pieces, or a bunch of other stuff it has... just come and take it home on a trailer or something.

If thats not going to happen, and you guys decide it has parts you need, then let me know.

If more pics are needed, I will try to get better quality ones up in its current state.

Whats still good??

-Interior is complete and in nice condition with few exceptions.

-All glass (except front windshield) is good.

-Rear hatch is good.

-Rear fenders good

-Drivers door good

Those are just main things, if you think of something, ask, and i will go look at it, as much as it pains me to do so.

Thanks for looking.

Just took pics with a real camera.

Also including pics of interior because i can.

Also

If it had new wheels put on the front, it would drive. I have a spare i could mount on it, so if you had one, you could bring it and drive it home easily i'm guessing.

Thanks for looking

Sorry its so dirty too. It normally is not so dirty, but it went offroading for the wreck, so theres dirt all over it.

: (

Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the bump ryanx26.

Ideally, i would like to just get rid of the whole thing.

But if it doesn't look like that will happen, then yes, i will be willing to part it out.

Either way really i just need money for another car.

Can you get me better pics of the damage area with the hood up and what price you are looking to get? With some work, that is fixable- espeially if it's rust free.

Wasn't this the one that you wanted to trade because it was a stick and you was not comfortale with driving a manual?

Uhh...I have no idea what you are talking about actually. I think you may be thinking of the wrong person. The only cars i have ever had have been manuals, so i feel quite comfortable in them.

Do you know me or think you do??? oh well.

I'll pm you Burton.

I will try to get the pics you want. I may not be able to do it right now as i have to go to work in a bit.

I realize it is very fixable, but i was not looking to keep this car before the crash, and I have no real interest in fixing it back up.

It is rust free for the most part. The body panels are all rust free, just ya know standard surface rust underneath the car. The body panels all look awesome, the ones that are ok.

It was an awesome car, and i would like someone from this awesome club to end up with it. This is where i was going to turn to when i tried to sell it, just didn't think i'd be selling it wrecked.

ok, i'm going to work so i won't be able to get back to you guys right away.

I have to work until 11 or maybe a little after, and i will try to get back to anyone after that.

Thanks for looking.

peace out

I think i have settled on a price of around $1200. Let me know what you think.

Here are the pics of it with the hood up. Sorry its not so pretty under the hood, we believe it was once at a used car dealership where they coated it with a nice fresh black spray of some crappy paint so it would look clean long enough to sell it to a previous owner.

Pics now.

Is that the car that was for sale on ebay from Walled Lake, MI?

No sir. Has never been for sale until now, especially not in Michigan. haha.

I have owned the car for 2 years and bought it from a guy in Ohio. I live in Indiana. Different car.

i might be interested if the price was half of what your askin. I sold a running quest in decent shape for 1200.

Cool. Guess you should look elswhere then. Sorry.

I could part it out for more than 600 fairly easily I believe. This is a running quest, not sure where you got the impression that it wasn't...

I just drove it yesterday.

I would take time to part it out, but I don't want to and have to go back to college so I won't be home to take it all apart and put it all up for sale really well.

Thanks for looking.

peace

Cassius

If you had the time I have a front end that could be chopped and stuck on there. Just a wee bit too far for me to think about. Especially with what needs done and the fact that I've just about finished a full rebuild on an engine.

I bet the $1200 car you sold wasn't a fiji blue WITH A SUNROOF.

Fiji with a sunroof is hard to find anymore...just ask Ken_B. He has spent quite a long time finding an affordable one with sunroof. They are out there, but the fiji cars are most often found without sunroofs.

I wouldn't take a penny less than $1200 for it because it is just a solid car with some repairable body damage. The right person could turn that car around for a few $$ and make a $3000 car from it easily.

Stick to you guns man!
